I’ve eaten my fair share of Korean food and this was truly one of the best meals (Korean or otherwise) that I’ve eaten in my entire life. We shared L.A Galbi, Doenjang Jjigae and Budae Jjigae. Each bite was as delicious as the first and we left stuffed. I couldn’t recommend this restaurant any higher.

The food is so good here in this unassuming restaurant inside a strip mall close to Oakland University and the service is friendly. The restaurant can get a little noisy when busy but it feels like you’re eating in someone’s home kitchen or in an Asian night market and my family and I loved the vibes. The noodles and soup dishes we ordered were comforting on a rainy day and we made plans to go back to try more dishes.

Seriously delicious. Very fresh, huge portions. Fair prices. The bowls came with lots of sides and toppings. We got way too much food and spent less than $50.

The food was delicious. The portions were huge, plenty to share. Many dishes we haven’t had a chance to try at other Korean restaurants.

I’ve been here twice now, and every visit has been a flavor-packed experience. I’ve tried the spicy beef cabbage soup and the kimchi soup—both were absolutely incredible, rich with flavor, and in spice. The kimbap was also delicious and well portioned for sharing. This place is quickly becoming one of my favorite spots!

Korean is one of my favourite Asian cuisines and Manna is it! Yes, the SOUPS are SO delicious, generous and completely unique from each other — not just variations. We ordered beef bone soup (rich but aromatic and light); tofu kimchi seafood soup (like having an endless ocean in your bowl); rice cake, dumplings and sliced beef soup (delicious, flavourful and generous); kimchi spam sausage tomato soup (super yum and not unlike pizza!). Our appetizer was Manna gimbap — so fresh the omelette was still warm. Side dishes were authentic and refreshing. Restaurant decor is simple, clean but humble.

I came for lunch on a weekday afternoon. The small restaurant was crowded, but I was seated right away. I ordered the Tteok Mandu Guk – soup with rice cakes, mandu, thin sliced beef and green vegetables in a flavorful broth, with banchan and a side of rice. It was wonderful. The beef was thinly sliced and tender, the mandu were large and full of filling. The banchan was fish cake in sesame oil, seasoned bean sprouts, and, of course, kimchi. Just delicious. The staff at the restaurant are kind and helpful and the service was prompt. I am new to Korean food, and I will happily be back to work my way through the menu.

Genuinely love this place!! It’s one of the best Korean restaurants that I’ve personally been to on the east side of Michigan. The first time my partner and I went here I had the Doenjang Jjigae and my partner had the Mandu-guk. Amazing and great banchan! The owners are so nice as well. We’ve been a few times after and it’s been consistent from what i’ve experienced. Highly recommend!

I visit this restaurant a couple of times a week after work. Food is authentic and portion is generous. The place clean and food is delicious. Sometimes I go up to three times a week when I don’t want to cook.
