I asked about vegetarian dishes. Mr.Dale owner and chef went to his garden and got fresh vegetables to fix me a dish. My husband and I are so grateful to call him our friend.

I love this place!! I’ve been a loyal customers for a few years. The owners really aim to please and the new location is great. The only issue I have is which dessert to choose!!

Their family chicken dinner was wonderful. Both my kids and I enjoyed it. Their corn bread beats out any other I’ve had. The jalapeno flavor really boosts it but isn’t spicy so my two children loved it as well. Side note- the artwork they have up on the walls speaks. Very beautiful!

EXCELLENT! If you grew up on southern style breakfast, then this is the best. I love the new location and decor. Every item is made to order. I’d highly recommend the fish with anything. Always fresh. I love that they’re in the Hamlin Park neighborhood and in walking distance of many main areas. 10/10 recommend

Very nice atmosphere. Visiting from Miami. Had excellent breakfast with a family vibe. Staff extremely friendly and welcoming. Huge space and clean. You come in and you go to cashier and order your food. They have specials. The price is very affordable. The bacon amazing. Grits hot and tasty. Eggs fluffy and real! We were visited by the owner and chef. For breakfast it’s like short order cooking meets style, taste, and finesse

If I could give more than 5 Stars I would. The fine people who operate Manna produce fantastic food. Manna recently moved into the former Record Theater building at 1786 Main Street in Buffalo, and is making great use of the courtyard space by providing outdoor seating areas for customers. Our office is located in the building, and we are so excited to enjoy the wonderful food and atmosphere Manna has to offer. We’ve enjoyed sampling some of Chef Dale’s creations, and can’t wait to see what else Manna will have to offer at their new location!

Food is great and tasty but the chef or the owner I don’t know who he was. He was screaming at one of his employees in front of customer. We witnessed her stepping out of the kitchen and leaving crying. Great food but horrible management.

I’ve known Dale and his crew for many years, and it’s so nice to see his restaurant grow in these tough times. He has his mother’s recipe for friend chicken, but the mint tea is a must on the menu to try, it’s amazing. Also, you get to see some art work by Leroi Johnson, an international recognized artist who is a highly respected lawyer by day.

Went with a group of friends and overall we all enjoyed our meals. I had the Fried chicken with red beans and rice which came with cornbread. The chicken was juicy and seasoned well. I really liked the spice combination on the skin. The beans and rice weren’t magical, but where very good. As was the cornbread which had corn kernels in it. Never had it that way and Iike the little surprises when I got a kernel in a bite.
This restaurant is located in the Northland Workforce Training Center as their primary eatery and though it’s housed there for the students/trainees it’s open to the public and offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Service was prompt and staff were very friendly too!
