Manna has been a staple restaurant in my repertoire for years and I have celebrated many special occasions there, from graduating from UNCW to birthdays, celebrations of life, and some of the best date nights I have had in Wilmington.

Dining at Manna is not just a meal, it is an experience. Every detail is thoughtfully curated. Having lived in New York and California and experienced fine dining in much larger markets, I can confidently say Manna consistently performs at a level comparable to top-tier city restaurants, all while being rooted right here in Wilmington.

The service is impeccable. The flavor profiles are creative and refined without ever feeling forced. The presentation of each dish is a true art form. And the cocktails are, without question, the best in town.

I often tell people to order the oysters with pickled onion sorbet. They are one of the most memorable dishes on the menu, and calling them life changing does not feel like an exaggeration.

After more than 20 years of dining across this area, I can say we have some great options, but Manna simply does everything better.

I had an incredible experience at Manna. From the moment we sat down, the service stood out in the best way. The staff brought so much energy and personality to the table, and every spiel they gave about the dishes and drinks was actually helpful instead of the usual scripted stuff. They were attentive the entire night, checked in at the right times, and made the whole dinner feel intentional.

The food itself was impressive. I ordered the steak and fries, and it came out cooked perfectly with a rich, glossy sauce that paired really well with the crispy, seasoned fries. You can tell they take the time to get the details right. The kale dish had a great mix of textures with the sesame and the pickled onions, and the sauce along the plate added a ton of flavor without being heavy.

Dessert was one of the highlights. The chocolate pot de crème and the warm fruit crumble both tasted like something from a higher-end spot without feeling pretentious. Rich, balanced, and a great way to end the meal.

The cocktails and appetizers are where Manna really shines. Everything we tried felt carefully put together and genuinely worth the price. Some entrées are a little expensive for what they are, but the apps, the drinks, and the overall experience make it more than worth the visit.

The combination of great service, thoughtful food, and a relaxing atmosphere makes this place an easy recommendation. If you’re going for the first time, definitely start with a couple appetizers and a cocktail—you won’t miss.

Manna is a charming lil spot. The cocktails were outstanding and the service as great. My only gripe is that a few of the dishes, including a salad were very salty. I was, “assalted” by the dried cheese on my salad, and so was one of my companions who ordered the same salad. The duck dish was particularly salty as well. If you have high blood pressure concerns you may wanna reconsider eating there, otherwise the food was great, especially the olive oil cake!

Manna is more than a restaurant — it’s an experience that nourishes both body and soul. From the moment you walk in, there’s an unmistakable sense of care, intention, and warmth that sets the tone for the entire meal.

The food is exceptional — thoughtfully prepared, beautifully balanced, and clearly crafted with high-quality ingredients. Every bite feels purposeful, comforting, and elevated without ever feeling overdone. It’s the kind of place where you slow down, savor, and truly enjoy the moment.

What makes Manna stand out even more is the atmosphere and hospitality. The space feels inviting and grounded, and the service is attentive in a way that feels genuine, never rushed. You’re made to feel welcome, remembered, and appreciated.

Manna is my favorite place to gather, celebrate, reflect, and reconnect. Whether it’s a special occasion or a simple night out, it always delivers something memorable. A true gem and a place I’ll return to again and again.

We went for a special occasion night out and dinner. Manna has been highly recommended by friends – and it’s well earned.
From arrival to departure we had an excellent evening. While the food certainly takes top billing, we also immensely enjoyed our interactions with all the staff, including Quinn and Andy.
We had the B A Barracas appetizer, the duck, and the risotto. The flavors were layered. The taste was fresh, yet comforting.
We look forward to returning.

Absolutely top notch. I had an unforgettable meal starting with oysters – one with a quail egg, and then the most amazing shrimp dish I’ve ever tasted. My friend had a Bibimbap style eggplant dish and then ordered the shrimp after she tasted mine. Both were incredible. The bartender fashioned us cocktails that were not on the menu based on what we said we liked.

Manna is our “go-to” fine a beautiful night out filled with fabulous dining, a creative and intimate vibe and premier service. We recently celebrated a birthday with 8 friends in our party and the attention to detail was unrivaled. There are several nice restaurants in this area, however none of them deliver the quality in all areas of the dining experience, on a consistent basis, as Manna does!

If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality, and our server Alayna truly made the evening special. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, answering every question we had with confidence, and her recommendations were spot on. We trusted her completely, and she did not disappoint – each dish was a revelation.

The food itself was out of this world – fresh, creative, and expertly prepared. Every bite was a delightful surprise, showcasing the kind of quality and innovation you don’t often find. It was honestly the best meal I’ve ever had.

The atmosphere was just as exceptional. It felt cozy and inviting, so much so that we ended up staying for four hours, savoring every moment. I took my mom out for a girls’ night, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. We had the most wonderful time, and we’re already looking forward to returning to see what’s new on the menu.

Thank you to everyone at the restaurant for making our night so memorable. We can’t wait to come back!

Manna was as fresh and exciting last night as it was the first time I visited fifteen years ago. They aren’t fooling around when they say, “we take the cocktail very seriously.” Manna has always served exceptional cocktails, and my drink last night was no exception. I had the Beauregard—Southern Star Rye, Cappelletti, Cynar, and sweet vermouth—it did not disappoint.
We shared two dishes at the bar. The first, “Run Forage, Run,” was a Jamie Oliver–esque wild mushroom bruschetta with incredible textures of crunch and creaminess that honestly made me want to cry. It was so good—I want to go back and eat it right now. We also had the warm kale salad, which struck exactly the right balance of zesty spice and cozy warmth. It suited me down to the ground.
Can’t wait to go back!
