I don’t typically leave bad reviews. But want other people to be aware. Paid $5 each for two slices of cake that were not made in the store. They were purchased elsewhere and resold. One of the slices had mold on the bottom. I pointed this out. But there was a language barrier so they told me it was good, no mold. I have a mold allergy. So instantly knew when I got it home but taking it back would have been useless because they didn’t understand me. It was easily 100 degrees inside the store as well. In February , my children and I had trouble breathing and were sweating until we got back outside. I cannot speak for the restaurant food other than the cake. There was more but all else would be nit picking.

Walked in waiting for a pie to finish next door. The place is empty but decorated with Easter decor (it’s July). I was greeted by a staff guy sticking his head out of the kitchen, he was soft spoken and I don’t think he could understand me. I was then met with another head sticking out of the kitchen, this time it was a woman. Deja Vu, she couldn’t or didn’t want to speak to me, idk. Finally a young guy came out and spoke with me, I asked him what they sell, what’s popular? (There’s no menu) He listed 3 types of dishes and I asked him how much for one of the dishes, he went to the kitchen to ask I guess. Came back and took the order of a group of 4 others that arrived 10 mins after I did. It sucks I can’t rate the food as I couldn’t even make it that far. I’d be honest in my review, some places have bad service but great food. I will never find out.

The ladies working were extremely friendly to me and accommodated my needs. I doordash and the only complaint I have is they need a better doordash system. Also, to the owner, please fix your ac. These strong, beautiful women are working inside and the thermostat reads 92 degrees and today outside its only 84 degrees. They deserve better!

Got the fritaille tassot and dined in.I wanted the whole Haitian experience.The food was wonderful, however we had a minor setback initially the goat meat was absent,all I got was bones that looked like meat.When I presented this to them they readily corrected it, good people and excellent food.i will be going again.

Legume to peppery. And they put a false advertisement at the bottom of brochure saying all meals come with salad, rice and plaintain except fratilile or some name. Legume came with everything except my salad and the lady still wouldn’t give it to me after I told her. I don’t play about my money or my food.
