Manila Sunset – Cerritos

  4.5 – 524 reviews   • Filipino restaurant

Social Profile:

Manila Sunset specializes in a few but unique and hard-to-find Filipino foods such as Bibingkang Galapong and Puto Bumbong which are traditionally found in church plazas and roadside stalls only during the Christmas Season. Our best seller, Pancit Malabon is prepared from an original well-guarded recipe from the fishing village of Malabon from which the name of the delicacy came from. We also offer other Filipino favorites such as Filipino BBQs, lumpia, Lechon Kawali, Crispy Pata, etc and also Merienda items like Arroz caldo and Tokwat Baboy. Call or visit our branches for pricing and availability.

Branch of a regional chain of casual counter-service restaurants offering classic Filipino fare.

make sure you visit this spot if you like Filipino food. I ordered the Pancit Malabon which has savory rice noodles loaded with shrimp, egg, chicharron and veggies, also tried their Bibingkang Galapong for dessert a perfect way to finish the meal. The staff were welcoming and worked quickly, even though the place gets pretty busy during lunchtime. The dining room has a cozy, no-frills vibe, parking in the plaza is easy and accessible

I love the food and service at Manila Sunset but it changed today. I bought a “Take out” last November but they forgot to include one item in the bag (Crispy Tokwat Baboy). I came back today to claim it or hoping to get refunded but they rejected my claim. I understand that it’s been two months ago but since there was no time limit stated in the receipt in this case, I was very disappointed. They did not complete the orders I paid for through their fault in the first place.

Been on the look for Filipino restaurants in the states that would actually hit like home, and this one did! Probably the best one we’ve had in a while. The pork sisig was top tier, even the bibingka! this will definitely be our go-to from now. Went here two days in a row SO SARAP TALAGA!!

Love the bibingka and fresh lumpia; this has always been our go-to spot for lunch. Unfortunately, lately it’s been harder to enjoy as the lunch rush has become more disorganized. It gets crowded, hot, and there’s no longer space to comfortably wait for orders. Such a shame, because the food itself is good.

I love their bibingka. It’s absolutely delicious. Remember to ask for grated coconut to sprinkle on top to step it up a notch.

Manila Sunset in Cerritos is hands down the best location.
I’ve been to other branches, but this one truly stands out. From the authentic flavors to the friendly service, every visit feels like a taste of home.

The pork BBQ skewers are grilled to perfection, juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. Their pancit palabok is rich, savory, and topped generously with all the fixings. And the bibingka? Absolutely incredible. It’s perfectly soft, warm, and fluffy with just the right hint of sweetness and creaminess. Each bite melts in your mouth and leaves you wanting more. It is honestly the best bibingka I have ever had, comforting, authentic, and unforgettable.

What really makes this location shine is the attention to detail and consistency. The food always tastes freshly prepared, portions are generous, and the staff is super welcoming and attentive.

Compared to other locations, Cerritos goes above and beyond in both quality and service. It is no wonder this has become my go-to spot whenever I’m craving Filipino comfort food

No frills Filipino restaurant. Place is small so expect a wait during peak time. No restroom. Better for takeout than dine in.

Pansit Malabon – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Sisig – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Grilled Bangus – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It was our first time here. Will come again to try other dishes.

Actually did not eat there yet. Went there but my group met me elsewhere. I thought the place [eating area] was pretty small. And the foods, although look very good & appetizing online, are made-to-order. There are other Filipino restaurants that are ready to order on sight which I prefer most of the time.
