Happened to pass by this place. I wouldn’t call it a hole in the wall per se, but I sure missed it whenever I was in the area previously. I had a Manhattan Salad and a small Number 9 (attached are pictures of them and of the menu for descriptions. I do apologize if the pics are not to standard, I have bad hands). They were positively delicious and very filling; woke me right up.
I tend to not frequent this kind of place due to healthy food sometimes suffering from a heavy “tax” that tends to make one lean towards a more common restaurant; but this place came off as fair and the food itself hit the spot with balanced textures and flavors. I wouldn’t mind passing by again if I am around.

The gentleman making the juice was warm and welcoming. It felt like he was genuinely happy to be making me a juice. I ordered an Empire State and I knew already that I don’t like Kale, but I also know it’s good for me. The Kale made my juice kinda funky, but my husband’s juice, the Orange Cleanse, was yummy and delicious . I loved that the wheatgrass was right there for me to see. I plan to make this place a normal stop when I’m in the area.

Got a chicken and turkey bacon panini and lentil soup. Delicious and filling without feeling too heavy. Also ordered a peanut butter protein shake. This place is great. I go to church around the corner so I will for sure be back

Poor business. I ordered a strawberry smoothie from here that wasn’t edible the first time I visited. The second time, the owner was very rude and petty about an acai bowl he failed to mention had almond milk (which I’m allergic to). The quinoa bowl also lacked flavor and was unappetizing. I do NOT recommend this place!

These people will have a delivery person shop for them and deliver and will report and say you delivered their items damaged, they ordered a big heavy order from restaurant depot , the item reported was a spring mix of salad of 3lbs and of course it’s salad how many times haven’t we ordered lettuce and a piece of a leaf is slightly wilted, but out of a whole 3lb bag with over 300 pieces of salad only one leaf was supposedly wilted when it was not! and I got reported for giving them damaged goods? No compassion, no tip, for someone doing a service to them, and will wrongly report you, I was actually planning to buy something in that store afterwards but now I would never based on how they will ask for service and will report for something out of your control! And will accuse you of getting them damaged goods which were not, That’s like a customer ordering a sandwich and it wasn’t cut perfectly in the middle but slightly to the side cmon now, wouldn’t buy from a place with people who will try to get a refund over lettuce…and report over a leaf. Attached is picture of the “rotten and damaged bag, ….” Allegedly…. When it’s ONE LEAF ONE! Out of 300-500 pieces of leafs… and the first picture is the one they said they received all damaged , but that’s how mesclun spring mix look, I even made sure it was all fresh, they don’t even care about hindering a person who is just working providing a service may be unable to work because of them reporting false things, what a world we live in, a market that should be based on principal, integrity and being just…. What shame…if this was to me imagine to how many others, and as previous one star ratings it seems the owner has been like this allegedly for years, would not buy from somewhere where the head of the business ceo practices unfair treatment to not just the employees but to people providing a service for them. But GOD sees everything. I do not respect untruthful people doing things in unfair manner and people who do malicious things like this.

Great spot with a friendly staff and good food! Even was digging the Arabic music that was playing. Tried the açaí bowl (one size and base toppings), chicken empanada, and 2 different energy balls. Highly recommended and will definitely stop in again when I’m in the area.

This juice was so good and I love how it tasted, the service there was great and they make the food really quickly! I definitely recommend this cafe because it has really good and healthy food! I definitely also recommend the energy ball there is two one is made with raisins and one is made with chocolate chips.And the food is the best part of this whole cafe.

I’ve been coming to Manhattan Juice Bar since they were located in downtown Montclair. The food is always fresh and prepared well. There are great vegan options but if you eat meat and fish, no problem–they’ve got great options. The smoothies are tasty too.
In short, there’s a great variety of options and the food is always delicious.
Lastly, the prices are reasonable.
