Made the Right Way. Every Day. There’s a reason our bagels taste different–they’re made the traditional way. At Manhattan Bagel, we give each bagel a dip in a kettle of boiling water, then bake them fresh each morning. That’s how we get our authentic shiny bagels with a crispy, golden crust on the outside and that soft, satisfying chew inside. No shortcuts. Just real, authentic bagels made the way they were always meant to be. We kettle-boil our bagels to lock in that shine and crunch, then bake them fresh daily for a chewy, golden bite. No shortcuts, just the classic NY method – done right, right here, every day.
Counter-serve chain specializing in NYC-style bagels & coffee, plus salads, soups & sandwiches.

I like this local bagel shop. I come here often and typically order a bacon, egg, and cheese … then vary the style of bagel periodically to change things up. The food is fast and inexpensive … and the staff is pleasant. My kids love to tag along as well … usually ordering a BEC each (sometimes multiple).

I stopped at Dunkin actually (next door) but I saw this place instead. I saw the word Manhattan and it instantly brought me back to the time I had some amazing bagels in New York. I came in and saw the menu options which actually looked quite appetizing. I went with the all American on an everything toasted. It was hot and looked appetizing until I took my first bite. The bagel was stiff and tough. I expected more freshness and fluffiness in the texture. In fact, I didn’t even finish the bread. I just ate the egg. The bagel bread was also salty. It was supposed to have chipotle mayo but I didn’t even taste it. I only basically saw and tasted the American cheese and egg. Would I come back here? Nah. It should not be called Manhattan bagels. That’s disrespectful to New York. Coffee was good tho…

The manager was very hospitable and made me a fire bagel sandwich! The veggies were very fresh. Highly recommend stopping by for breakfast or lunch.

i got 2 of the farmhouse bagels and they were missing items in both of my bagels that were supposed to be there, per the description and I called them and they said they would give me a refund, and to wait 5 business days for it to arrive. I waited weeks and nothing, so when I called back they said that they have to talk to the manager who wasn’t there at the moment and he would call me back. Never happened. Called again and they said that he wasn’t there. Don’t go here. They are not honorable.

Well we went there yesterday and ordered two things, a chicken wrap and steak bagel. First,
The price was super high for these small items, specifically the steak one. 2nd thing, I went there and I expected a bagel not a bread sandwich. I think they need to change the pricing or the names at least otherwise this place doesn’t make any sense in this area. The atmosphere is much lower and depressing than a Mc Donald place.

The worst place in Vienna. Staffed with 7 people on average, and you have to pick up your own food at the counter, that is, if you can even place an order because the staff stands around yapping with each other instead of focusing on customers. I dont think I’ve ever seen a manager or owner in this place. Will never be back. Adios muchachas!

While the selection of bagels was generous, the cost seemed a little steep. I had the Farmer’s bagel ( egg, cheese, and meats) and large coffee. Cost was $20, which IMHO was a little high, but I suppose considering the NOVA area I should have expected it!

They do not care about the customers all! Made a request to clean the grill (just a wipe down is what I asked for) for allergy and religious reasons and the staff brought the manager and he was extremely rude. He said we will not clean it, because if I come next time I will ask the same thing. They were not even busy, one customer came in after me several minutes later. Will never come back here again.

This is NOT a gourmet bagel place! Total rip off.
Two bagels with a tip around $40 dollars.
I got the brisket bagel. Brisket was burned. Essentially ate a grilled, greasy bagel given the smallest amount of egg provided.
If you are expecting a NY-style bagel, this is not the place. We ended up grabbing McDonald’s breakfast after for a quarter of the price we paid.
Also, the male in the front wiped the sweat off his forehead then proceeded to rearrange the bagels in the bin.

This is my go-to spot anytime I’m wanting a bagel or just breakfast in general. I’ve never actually visited the restaurant, but I have had it delivered MANY times over the last 3-4 years. Because I haven’t actually visited the restaurant, I can’t speak on the customer service or the atmosphere, but I can speak on the food. It has never disappointed. My go-to is a blueberry bagel with sausage, egg, and cheese with a hash brown and caramel chiller. They also always wrap it in foil so no matter how long delivery takes, my food is always either warm or hot. Highly recommend Manhattan Bagel!
