Mangrove is an absolute gem in downtown Miami. From the moment you walk in, the service is excellent, warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The space feels cozy and inviting, making it easy to relax and really enjoy the experience.
The cocktails deserve special mention. They’re thoughtfully crafted and perfectly balanced. The Natural Mystic was outstanding, so good I couldn’t resist having more than one.
As for the food, everything we tried was phenomenal. The wings were packed with flavor, the lamb chops were cooked beautifully, and the curry oxtail was truly to die for—rich, comforting, and deeply satisfying. The dishes do lean on the spicy side, so if you’re sensitive to heat, keep that in mind. Personally, I loved every single bite.
This is one of those places that gets everything right: service, drinks, food, and atmosphere. I’ll definitely be returning.

Hubby took me here for a surprise. What a delight! Everything was scrumptious – perfectly spiced and the flavours were bold and balanced. Jimmy was really sweet and helped us out with things for our baby and checked in on us Fantastic service. This was some of the best Jamaican food I’ve had. Oh and the pineapple rum cake? Divine. You have to go. Get everything on the menu. Can’t go wrong.

Good food and service. Our waiter was really helpful with describing the food options on the menu. The portions were suitable and the food was good! I was with a group and we shared get a an idea of how the menu items tasted. One notable dish was the Lobster Mac-N-Cheese. Judging the crowd and atmosphere, I think it’s a great place to go out on a date. The restaurant also has a DJ which brings a great vibe to the restaurant.

A live DJ played a great mix of Caribbean music, Afrobeats, and R&B. The dim lighting created an intimate atmosphere, while the music added a fun, lively vibe. It’s definitely a great spot for date night or an evening out with friends. Highly recommend and I’ll definitely be back!

What a great find! Our group of four walked in without a reservation to this intimate Jamaican restaurant, and were accommodated. Our server, Jimmy was great explaining the dishes and offering advice. Food was delicious! This is definitely a repeat spot when we return.

Mangrove was HANDS DOWN one of the BEST places I’ve ever been to eat. The food was outstanding, portions were generous, and the atmosphere was great.
We received excellent service from Wensley who served us two days in a row, he was polite, patient, and took great care of our whole team.
The Chef himself also came out to greet us and shake ALL our hands which is a level of service you rarely receive from restaurants.
Any time I visit Miami I’ll be coming to Mangrove!

Everything about this restaurant is perfect!! We celebrated a birthday and it couldn’t have been a better night. The service was impeccable! Jamie was a star and took time to converse, get to know us, ask us if we needed anything, and was always there to create a wonderful experience – he even asked the DJ to play a very nice birthday song!! The food was incredible and to die for!! The jerk chicken and shrimp salad were fantastic options. The chicken was so flavorful and juicy and paired perfectly with the sweet rice and peas. The shrimp salad was refreshing and had a tasty dressing. The vibes inside are very cool. Will definitely be coming back here again.

I really enjoyed everything here. Atmosphere, food, drinks, service, and music everything was spot on. I attended solo during a spontaneous trip to Miami and fortunately got Marybelle as my bartender. Her inviting demeanor, great conversation, service and DRINKSSS really stamped my visit. Service was phenomenal, kudos to Marybelle and the chef truly made my night. Highly recommend this spot ladies
