Our group of bikers come here for drinks, and the Dj. He did a great job with the music. Kitchen was hustling, a nice breeze blowing through. And beers were ice cold.

Besides being dog friendly, everything else was subpar. We had a party of 6 and order drinks as well as food. The drinks were watered down and I felt like I was drinking juice more than alcoholic beverages. Their gator balls have very little meat. They tasted very salty and doughy with hardly any “gator” meat inside. We ordered the mango wings and they were not even warm. These wings either sat outside for a long time or they didn’t pop them in the microwave long enough. The food was terrible. The ribs were dry and the sauce was mediocre. The fried oysters had no sauce and were bland. The shrimp poor’boy needed sauce to have any flavor, but there were none. The beef nachos might be the only thing decent, but there were hardly any beef on the nachos. Overall, this was one of the worse restaurants I have ever been to. The worse part is, this place is also EXPENSIVE! $12 per watered down drinks? This is ridiculous. I guess people come here because they have a “playpen” for their kids. I would never come here again and would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

We just had a drink. The bartender was nice. It was just too chilly to stay there. She tried to get the outdoor heating thing going for us, but it was evidently out of propane. Not her fault.
We didn’t eat there, so that’s why food isn’t rated.

This place has the best Oysters Rockefeller I ever had. Big oysters cooked perfect. We found it by accident when we stopped for their $5 Margaritas. They were good too. They let the dog sit with us. Jeremy was the cook. Wayne was a great server.

My son stoped to get me a grilled grouper sandwich
As my diet restriction. I never like takeouts. When he came back with it I thought of taking it back but just threw it out. As for the grouper it looked like 2 little pieces of something. Tasted like crap.

We stopped for lunch on Wednesday. Slight wait with the challenge in staffing, from the pandemic. We had drinks the bar tender was great and also our server. She gave great table service. We had nachos and tacos both were good. We will be back.

I ordered a specialty drink. I asked in advance how much it cost (yes, we paid cash). When the bill came it was more than what was quoted; when I asked about it I was told “oh she’s new (referring to the bartender/waitress), she doesn’t know the prices”. My Mahi Mahi tacos were excellent. My husband’s ribs tasted like they were days old and had been reheated many times.

As a proud member of Fish With a Hero, I’ve had the privilege of spending time on the water with some of our nation’s bravest—and after a long day casting lines under the Florida sun, there’s no better place to refuel than Mangrove Mike’s.

The second you walk in, you feel like part of the family. The staff treats everyone—veterans, locals, and visitors alike—with genuine warmth and respect. And the food? Let’s just say it hits the spot like a perfectly timed cast. The biscuits and Gravy were tops on my list along with the pancakes. See you next year. Best food there. Dillon and staff great.

oysters were terrible. not seasoned and had cold shredded cheese on them. awful service. forgot 3 of our dishes that our table ordered and when we told the waitress, she turned to the other waitress next to her and laughed and said “omg i forgot haha my brain was everywhere”. barely acknowledged us and didn’t even apologize. waitresses also didn’t know the market price of the oysters and just gave us a range. bathroom was out of toilet paper. tvs didn’t have any games on and it was a thursday night during football season
