The food was delicious! Our server, Jacob, was amazing – so helpful, got everything right, had such a pleasant demeanor, and seemed to really enjoy his job! The atmosphere is wonderful – almost a Speakeasy or private club vibe with rich wood, beautiful chandeliers, and an intimate and cozy feeling. One suggestion… we were able to substitute or add protein to the menu items, but did not see that mentioned on the menu. I ordered the mushroom risotto and added steak. It was amazing (and we were told the chef even thought it looked sexy…ha!). So, the suggestion is to update the menu to indicate the option of adding or substituting a protein. And we were able to split a salad (also not mentioned on the menu) – it came out already split onto two plates and we each ordered a different dressing… perfect! Overall we would highly recommend Mangiamo and plan to return.

My husband and i had an amazing time here and was able to get seated right away. The host was very Accommodating and let us pick whether we wanted to dine in the dining area or downstairs in the cocktail lounge(Moe’s)We chose the cocktail lounge and it did not disappoint. The drinks were fantastic. Anthony did a great job being consistent with the 6 cocktails we ordered. Luciano was very knowledgeable on the food and Maddie had great suggestion. We are originally from New York and moved to West Michigan, and this was our first stop in our Culinary experience in Michigan. We will definitely be back and recommend this magical place. The calamari was phenomenal. The aïoli sauce really gave it a nice touch. Oysters were very fresh and the butternut squash gnocchi was to die for. They even split it for us because we were sharing. Our cocktail of choice was the Mezcal pineapple margarita make sure to request it with Vida Mezcal. I would say overall food & drinks were on the pricier, but well worth it.

Everything was exactly what we were looking for for our date night. All the staff was professional and knowledgeable. Our server, Jacob, has a wonderful and bubbly personality, and knew the menu well. Everything was delicious from start to finish. We will be returning for another dinner here.

We had an all around fantastic experience at Mangiamo! Drinks and speak easy vibes were great down in Mo’s lounge. And we were very impressed with our elegant dinner in the restaurant where we enjoyed the artichoke appetizer, the hanger steak and salmon entrees, and the chocolate mouse dessert. Highly recommend!

Went for Valentines and it was lovely. Food was amazing and service was great. I had the Chicken Piccata and it was delicious! The baseball meatball and lobster fusilli were also great, though my husband’s lobster fusilli dish was a bit on the acidic side, probably due to the olives. Still both loved our meal.

Cece was absolutely the best server! Would dine here again solely based on her service. The food was amazing as well. Mussels were divine. Steak was cooked perfectly. The garlic mashed potato’s were silky smooth and great flavor. I didn’t know broccolini could taste so good. Wine list was fantastic. And the speakeasy cocktails were perfection. 10/10 no notes.

The food was absolutely amazing!! Chef Erika has crafted a spectacular menu. Definitely try the artichoke hearts, the butternut squash gnocchi, and the mushroom risotto. Also they need to sell the chocolate, it was the perfect way to end the meal. We also got a tiramisu to go and again I would recommend you try it. Each bite of everything had us looking forward to coming back for more artichokes and trying more of the menu. Ken also provided top service

Date night! service was fantastic everyone who interacted with us seemed interested in what we were wearing, the occasion and answering my girlfriends numerous questions. The vibe and design of the restaurant is near perfect. I adored the dim lights and colors of the restaurant as well as how the tables were set up. The food was very good. Not 10/10 perfect but don’t take it to heart as food comes out differently a lot and can’t be judged on 1 visit. For an appetizer we got the garlic bread and it was Fantastic! My salmon was cooked deliciously and her cauliflower steak was definitely delicious but not mind blowing. For dessert we had the lemon cake and the tiramisu and since she has a sweet tooth she gave it a 10/10. Presentation on food was 10/10 the garnish and stuff like that was perfect. I would definitely recommend for an intimate 1 on 1 experience or if you are feeling classy and wanna go a little over the top.
