My fiance and I happened upon Mangia Buff after reading all the positive reviews! Boy, were those reviews accurate! the ambiance and food is wonderful! We both participated in the Bloody Mary Bar! Try the house mix, you won’t be disappointed!!! the server was excellent, very well attentive and funny. the owner was great, you can tell he takes a lot of pride in his eatery! Mangia Buff will now become a regular stop whenever we’re in the area!!!!

My fiance and I just got engaged (that day) and decided to celebrate. We were staying in Gold beach and saw the ratings for Mangia and decided to give it a shot. So happy we did! The staff was very pleasant, the chef/owner came out and told us the specials and later came to check on us. The food was very delicious, I had the clam linguine and he had the cheese raviolis with two sauces. The servings were generous and when they heard we just got engaged, they treated us to a cream puff dessert. Plus, my Bloody Mary was just as good as the food ( I know, linguine with a bloody Mary but I couldn’t help myself). Thank-you again!!

I was in town visiting my friends and they took me here for a great time! The atmosphere was pleasant and the food was scrumptious! Kevin, our chef, personally took our order and prepared our food. Kevin was really fun so after our dinner we closed down Monday night football drinking wine and beers with him. This was a very fun dining experience for us! Definitely will be back!

Stumbled on to this place and was blown away! Don’t let the odd location sway you away, you will not be disappointed. Food was EXCELLENT and the owner obviously takes great pride in his business. Very polite and informative, although some people may find his simple jersey and ball cap attire out of place, we loved it. It was clear it’s all about the FOOD experience and not just making a buck, something a lot of places are missing these days. Top notch, would highly recommend!

We stopped here for lunch after seeing an “Italian Food” sign outside of a nondescript “mini mall” type building. Sure glad we did! Fresh made 3 cheese ravioli with meatball bolognese sauce for me and a huge portion of lasagna for my wife. All was fantastic!! I also ordered a “meatball or two” with my meal since I like meatballs. The one served to me was huge and couldn’t taste better. Chef / Owner, Buff, made our lunch a very special and enjoyable experience. I hope to see him and have another great meal at his fine restaurant again soon! Mangia Buff is definitely worth the trouble to “find”!

The most accurate review is the bad one made by Brissa. Very expensive for very small portions. The menu is confusing and unreliable. Half the time they aren’t even open during their real business hours. And if you’re looking to have a nice Sunday lunch there? Forget about it. Closed on Sundays and Mondays. (And almost every other time you ever want to go there.) I’ve been disappointed many times by their lack of a real schedule. The food is pretty average and way overpriced. The creme brulee tasted like basic vanilla custard. The owner brags non-stop about his wonderful cooking and gives recommendations you didn’t ask for. If you’re looking to drink a slushie then order the margaritas. Might as well have come in a plastic cup that said Icee. Very little seating and if you happen to be there on a busy night you’ll end up sitting in the hallway of an old high school. The owner laughed at the bad review, but I hear the restaurant is closing soon so who’s laughing now?

Good food but the portions are too small. We paid around 40 dollars for 8 ravioli and a glass on wine. They don’t have a menu, so you actually can’t see the prices. Few options to chose btw . Not so sure from where all the good reviews came… Mots probably from family and friends. Don’t go there if you are super hungry, you will be just sad and disappointed. We had to stop in the near restaurant to get more food.
