We stopped by Mandy’s Ice Cream as a little reward for our daughter Nevaeh after she did great at a doctor’s appointment, and it ended up being such a fun experience. Mandy, the owner, was incredibly friendly and took time to talk with us and make us feel welcome.
She let us sample many eifferent ice cream flavors (which were all really good), and everything we ordered was delicious. My daughter and I got dipped waffle cones, and my wife got the dessert nachos — all amazing.
The ice cream was great, but the customer service really stood out. I’ve already been asking people if they’ve been to a Mandy’s and I would highly recommend. Mandy was so kind and personable, and you can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does. We’ll definitely be back!

This is one of the very few places left in the world where you can get a proper chocolate malt, made with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup.
I took my son there tonight and there were too great teenagers working who were very pleasant and respectful and honestly I would hire either of them in an instant. They just seemed like good kids.
I asked for a chocolate malt and asked if she could make it with vanilla ice cream and she cut me off (in a nice way) and expounded on the rest and I knew she knew how to make one properly.
When she was done she was beaming with pride and said that it was the best looking malt she had ever made, and I have to say it was very pretty. Above all else though, it was delicious. Easily one of the best chocolate malts I have ever had.
While she was helping me the young man working there helped my son and also did a great job. Just super friendly and genuine.
I don’t know what Mandy’s hiring process entails, but she nails it. There are lots of places that you can go where you will get so-so or bad service from teenagers, but not Mandy’s. Every time I have been there I have received friendly and helpful service and phenomenal ice cream. It is one of the gems of the Brownsburg area.

This is one of our favorite places to go as a family. The flavors are unique and absolutely delicious – in my personal top 3 ice cream places of all time. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. We live 30 minutes away, but whenever we make it to Brownsburg we try to get to Mandy’s.

This was my first visit. It seems like a family business. There was a small wait as only two people were working. They didn’t seem stressed or overwhelmed and both were very patient. They didn’t have my flavor ice cream but I was able to make it work by adding toppings. It wasn’t bad. There are also benches outside as well to sit. There wasn’t a trash outside so you had to go back in to throw away the garbage.
