I stopped in for a late dinner at Mandolin Kitchen, and it turned out to be an absolute delight from start to finish. I began with their new roasted red pepper labneh, a creamy, tangy dip reminiscent of hummus but with a deeper, roasted flavor. It was served with freshly baked warm bread that complemented it beautifully—comforting and full of flavor.
For the main course, I ordered the Lavraki (Mediterranean sea bass), and it was nothing short of perfection—tender, flaky, and delicately seasoned to bring out the fish’s natural sweetness. It was accompanied by a generous side of roasted Brussels sprouts, a crisp salad, and tender baby asparagus. The salad leaned a bit heavy on the dressing, but everything else was spot on—fresh, balanced, and vibrant.
To end the meal, I enjoyed a cup of authentic Turkish coffee, rich and aromatic with that signature hint of spice and sweetness. It was the perfect finale to a wonderful meal.
The restaurant also offers valet parking, though I opted out—it felt a bit unnecessary given the easy street parking nearby. Overall, Mandolin Kitchen delivered an outstanding dining experience: refined yet relaxed, flavorful yet balanced. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their Mediterranean dishes.
The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented everything tasted authentic and well seasoned. The hookah was smooth, long-lasting, and paired perfectly with the overall experience.
Service was friendly and attentive, making it a great place for date night, a night out with friends, or just a relaxed evening with good food, music, and vibes. Definitely a place worth coming back to.
If you’re into hookah, this is a perfect spot for it. The music was just right—not too loud, so we could actually have conversations. We had a wonderful time, and I’d definitely recommend this place for birthdays, dining, or even just to try their special drinks. 100% worth a visit!
Cheers,
BN
