If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Genuinely this food was AMAZING and far surpassed my expectations. We ordered a LOT of food because we truly wanted to try everything on the menu, lol. Every single thing was a 10/10 for me. The flavors were incredible and unique. I have had middle eastern food in the past but never food from Yemen specifically. This was beyond incredible and I will recommend this place to anyone who will listen. The service was so phenomenal, our server took time to explain and recommend dishes to us and was so personable and very attentive. I will absolutely be back any chance I get!!

A hidden gem on Jefferson Blvd in Warwick, this cozy Yemeni restaurant offers authentic flavors at great value for money.
Last night we ordered the lamb Heenth, Zorbian, and chicken Kabsa. The standout for me was the Zorbian (for Biryani lovers you’d adore it) easily the best dish of the night. The Heenth lamb was excellent choice too juicy, tender, and literally falling off the bone. بيدوب في الفم خطييير
Rice portions were generous and satisfying. The chicken Kabsa was decent, but not their strongest plate.
For dessert, the Baklava was a winner، delicious and perfectly sweet. The Areeka didn’t hit the same mark for me.
The staff were friendly, welcoming, and served our large group with constant smiles. The dining area is small, so booking ahead is recommended. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, including space for mobility support.
And don’t leave without trying the complimentary Yemeni tea;; it’s on the house, along with their classic Yemeni tea.

I would definitely come back here when given a chance. Nice halal spot to eat at while I was traveling for work.
I’m usually not a fan of lamb. So I played it safe.
I got the lentil soup and Steak & Cheese Supreme Sandwich. Both were delicious.
The tea was nice and it’s complimentary.
I would suggest periodically checking if the tea is warm and checking that the paper towels in the restroom are refilled. I would gladly pay for hot tea especially since it was a cold night.

Yemeni food is the most unique Middle Eastern cuisines. This restaurant does it well. I had the National Dish, Saltah, a lamb stew with fenugreek sauce. It comes with a huge piece of fluffy Yemeni bread and is absolutely delicious.
The waitress and the owner’s wife are both very friendly and are fun to talk to. They also do a good job with large groups, as there was a big party seated next to me.
I also enjoyed the decor, especially the inscription in Masnad, Ancient South Arabian Script, behind the cash register.
Definitely try Mandeez for food you’ve probably never eaten before. I’m looking forward to trying everything on the menu!

This was my first time trying Yemeni cuisine, and it is delicious! We had the akdah (with basmati rice instead of the tanoor bread due to the ovens not being ready yet) and lamb haneeth. Both were large portions, served steaming hot, and packed with so much flavor. A very satisfying meal!

You know when you see the google reviews for a restaurant and they’re really high and you’re somewhat suspicious? Well I was until I ate my first bite of lamb here at Mandeez Deli. My goodness, it’s the absolute best lamb I’ve ever had. Ever. And I’m old.
Apparently there’s a sorceress or wizard in the back fusing together the best meat flavors your palate can imagine into a texture that melts like butter in your mouth.
The rice as a side was likewise delicious. And the “salsa” is spicy but fragrant.
And then to complete this culinary journey, we had a slice of the pistachio cake. Wow. Just wow. Creamy, delicious, delicate, wonderful.
On top of it all, the good people running this place are warm and welcoming. We had to compliment them on the food, and we could tell from their response, one of the ingredients is a genuine love for their cuisine.
This restaurant is simply amazing and unfortunately, for my waistline, too close to my home!

I had an amazing experience at Mandeez Deli and Restaurant! The mansaf was absolutely outstanding easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The lamb was incredibly tender and flavorful, cooked perfectly and served over fluffy rice soaked in rich, authentic jameed sauce. Every bite tasted fresh, traditional, and made with care.
What truly made the visit special was the hospitality. The owners were so kind, welcoming, and generous. They made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. Their warmth and genuine friendliness added so much to the overall experience.
