We thought it had closed years ago. It reopened under new owners. Stopped in for lunch. It was wonderful. I had the walnut chicken. My husband had sesame chicken. Both were light and delicate. I called my dad and we are going with him next week!!

I have frequented the Mandarin Garden for as long as I can recall, consistently enjoying exceptional food and dining experiences.

The server was fairly friendly, that’s the end of the good part of this review.

When you walk in it feels like you walked back to the late 70’s gimmick places you seen in old shows. The food was barely edible. My wife got the cashew chicken, they brought it out without any cashews in it. When she inquired about it they gave her a handful of raw cashews to toss on it. The dish itself had almost no flavor at all and what little it had was not great.

I order the red curry beef, now I have had curry probably 200 times in my life in a number of different places, and this disgraced the name in all ways. It had the flavor of mop water with an entire bottle of black pepper dumped in. No spice at all, just black pepper. I could barely choke it down. The meat in the curry tasted like it was pretty old and possibly cooked separately and tossed in after the fact. It was not served with rice, just an oversized spoon.

The tea we ordered was cheap tea in a bag, no effort at all. Going out to eat you would imagine someone could brew something from loose leaf, or at least a descent brand.

The rangoons were the generic frozen ones you get at any buffet. Not much else you can say there.

I could not recommend this place in any way shape or form, easily one of the worst tasting meals I have seen in a long time.

The pork egg roll was good but the ragoons were weak frozen buffet style. The Padthai had a watery peanut sauce that had zero flavor. The General Tso was pretty good, but was watery also.

Good food is served in large portions at very reasonable prices. This is a place my parents used to take me for family dinners a long time ago. The menu has not changed, but it still has really good soups, appetizers, and sauces on their entrée dishes.

I remember my parents always bringing me here as a kid. I loved it then and I still love it now. It’s one of those restaurants that has stood the test of time in Green Bay. The food is excellent and the staff is very kind.

I had to ask for straws twice, and was served the wrong soup…later corrected. Other people who arrived after us also got their food first. I had to ask another waitress for to go boxes because our waitress was taking too long. Despite the poor service, the food was great and they had big portions.

I got the moo goo gai pan. Traditionally love this dish. This wasnt it. Tasted like raw garlic. No other flavors, could not finish. She got the cashew chicken, traditionally her favorite dish. Pretty flavorless as well and the sauce had the thickness of water. not great but I was able to eat it because it fidnt taste like I was eating raw garlic. They included a container of black sauce that smelled like degreaser. Didnt risk my life on that one.. I usually love all the sauces but that didnt smell legal. Onions in fried rice not cooked enough. We shared a pu-pu for two appetizer. Crab rangoons sub par, rolls weak.. Overall the food was awful, all the wrong flavors when there was any flavor at all
I like supporting family businesses but y’all need some help I’m praying for you

Went there to pick up my good for a takeout order, right away there was no one to meet me for the first 5 minutes with my order sitting in front if me. When I was finally served it was 48 dollars for 2 orders of chicken, and some lo mein.
After all of the payment and I got home, the chicken was not sauced, and the chicken was soggy. Not to mention the noodles taste like bleach, do not eat here.

Food is bland and tasteless. Chicken was not fresh (it had that days-old poultry taste).
Disgusting. Someone should introduce this place to cooking with garlic and ginger and maybe green onions and tell them not to serve their guests food that isn’t fresh for goodness sake!
