I have been going to this place since I was a child for 30 years. I have never had any issues with the service or quality of food. But I can not say that for today. So my family and I went for lunch to order off the menu and got a meal for 5 dinner pack. The first thing we ordered was Mongolian beef. My mother even asked the lady if it came with the white rice noodles and the server said yes. So we ordered that and 4 other dinner items. We got all of our food except for the main thing my mother and I wanted which was the Mongolian beef. We asked where the Mongolian beef was and the lady said we didn’t order it even though she repeated our order multiple times to us saying Mongolian beef herself. My wife told her we did order that item and the lady replies back in a rude way saying that we replaced it with something else even though she’s the one asking what else do we want. The mongolian beef was the only item my mother and I wanted and I told the waiter that and she just shrugs it off. We get our soups and the shrimp in it is extra fishy tasting. Overwhelming the soup. I’ve had their soup many times and this was not normal. Their soup is the best but not this time. The shrimp taste was too much. Extra fishy shrimp is a sign of not being fresh shrimp that has sat out too long. The general’s tso chicken had an odd aftertaste. I’ve had this dish many times on the buffet and dinner ordered. This dish was not normal.
The schezuan chicken was the most disgusting dish out of all of it. I’ve had this dish multiple times here and it’s always been delicious but not this time. Everything else we ordered was just alright but the lo mein noodles was the best tasting of all of the five meals cooked and I don’t even care for lo mein that much. After this experience I will not be back. After 30 years of going here I can’t go to a place that runs a restaurant like that. No apology or anything. I didn’t even leave a tip because of how we were treated there and I do not believe in going to a restaurant and being served and not leaving a 15% to 20% tip. Sorry but I won’t be back. There are other places closer to where I live that offer good quality Chinese food that is slightly more affordable for lunch prices. And we made a to go order of Mongolian beef since we didn’t get it there for dine in. I didn’t want to order it through our server because of how rude she was and thought she might do something to our food. Opened up the food and it was disgusting looking. The flavor wasn’t even there for a 15$ priced item. What happened to this place? The meat was a vomit slop just like the schezuan chicken. Is there a new chef back there? So disappointing…

Lunch doesn’t have much options, but we enjoyed our dinner a lot. Everything was fresh and hot, big portions too for nice prices.

Very small buffet for the price. There was no soup. Very little fruit. Mostly garden variety heat and serve. The service wasn’t great. I’m pretty sure they were understaffed. Two hot bars and one cold. I’m sorry, it barely qualifies as a buffet.

While shopping at nearby stores, we decided to give Mandarin Garden a shot. We walked in, clueless about the place, and got a friendly greeting. After reviewing the take-out menu, we settled on two orders of Sesame Chicken—one with fried rice and the other with white rice. The person taking our order mentioned that the food would be ready in 10-15 minutes. Setting a timer on my phone, we walked to another nearby store and returned right on time. As promised, the food was ready when we arrived. We packed everything up and headed home. The food itself turned out to be good, though, in my opinion, it tasted more like Sweet and Sour Chicken than Sesame Chicken. One positive note was that the chicken actually tasted like real chunks of chicken breast and wasn’t drowned in breading. Overall, the food and service were good. 3.5

I haven’t been to the buffet lately but I’ve order Togo a few months ago. Back to the buffet, we arrived at 1:00pm and I asked the service guy would they be putting out more food. 1:30 still no fresh food around 1:40 they threw a few wings and over battered shrimp in the first section of the buffet. There were a lot of customers that already ate and were sitting around so I assume they didn’t want to cook anymore food. Poor service and quality of food

No accountability terrible service. Just ordered two large wonton soups from Mandarin Garden on highway 138. Indicated shellfish allergies during my order. Got home and shrimp were in both soups. Called and explained the mistake and said I would be bringing back. Once there I had to ask for a refund as it was not offered and asked for my order to be remade correctly. The male owner laughed and said he would not remake unless I paid for both orders.
I will never give this place my money again and will only spend where my money is respected. Shellfish allergies is nothing to play with an as a restaurant owner when such a deadly error was made at MINIMUM i should not have to pay for my order to be corrected. I came in calm and had to ask to be compensated for their mistake. Horrible customer service for what could have been a grave mistake. Just sharing my experience. Male not shown in photo as he walked off to the back after laughing.

The food is delicious! The spring rolls and the other dish I always get (I forget the name) are amazing. The service is always awesome and quick. Definitely recommend if you’re looking to satisfy your hunger!

No good. No food was not fresh at all. I ordered a house fried rice and the meat in the rice was cold like ice. The hot braised wings tasted old and greasy. The hot pepper chicken was 80 percent batter and 20 percent chicken. The only thing that was good was the wonton soup. I’ll pass on this restaurant, it was horrible.

This was my first time eating here. I got my food delivered.it took a while to get to me but the food was still hot. The fried chicken was made well, and delicious. As well as the crab ragu angles. But the orange chicken was over cooked. And the sauce came separately. Which was odd to me. The fried rice was bland, and under cooked. But the white rice was good. I will be ordering again. Just slightly different
