It’s a 5 star overall because nothing was bad. Everything was tasty and service was great. Clean restaurant, neat location at The Mill. Pork had a good flavor and was moist. Mate said wings were excellent. Sides were really good, but I wish they were a little bigger. I prefer bread or roll over cornbread, but personal preference.

My daughter and I are visiting from Los Angeles, and stoped by Edley’s BBQ at The Factory. It ended up being one of the highlights of our trip so far.
From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed, not like tourists, not like outsiders, but like family. Every interaction felt warm, natural, and kind. There’s something special about a place where hospitality isn’t forced; it’s just who they are.
We were lucky enough to meet the manager, Benjamin, who was incredibly welcoming and courteous. He took the time to greet us, check in on us, and made sure we felt right at home. That kind of leadership clearly sets the tone for the entire team.
As a father traveling with his daughter, that feeling of comfort matters. We were sharing a meal, memories, and laughs, and the staff made that experience even better. Great food plus genuine Southern hospitality is a hard combo to beat, and Edley’s absolutely delivers on both.
If you’re in Franklin, especially at The Factory, do not miss this place. We’ll be talking about this stop long after we’re back in LA.

We were visiting my brother in law and family in Nashville. They took us to Edley’s Bar-B-Que for lunch.
1st thing I noticed was plenty of seating as we waited to place our order. You order and then get a number to take with you to your table. The waiter came and got all our drink orders in a timely manner. Everyone got draft beers and I got a delicious sweet tea.
Our table kept it simple and we all ordered the brisket sandwiches with sides. My side was the grits casserole, which was spectacular. Great meal, great drinks with good company.

We stopped by on President’s day after walking through Franklin factory. They have a selection of takeout goodies, pie, cookies, and barbecue sauces right as you walk in the door. The menu selection is good, so it was difficult to decide since pork barbecue is one of the best dishes on earth. I love barbecue chicken and beef, but give me pulled pork in hundreds of ways. Catfish was on the menu, too, and I settled between pulled pork tacos or the Catfish tacos. The man taking our order was knowledgeable and steered me toward the pulled pork. The pork in the taco wasn’t as plentiful as I liked, but the sauce, slaw, and other ingredients inside didn’t overpower the pork. My two sides were grits and banana pudding. Both were great. My companion had the trio meat platter. I took a bite of the chicken, with red and white bbq sauce drizzled over it. It was the juiciest chicken I’ve had in this area. Definitely worth the trip.

We’d been wanting to try Edley’s ever since they opened in The Factory at Franklin, and I’m so glad we finally did. We ordered to-go and sat in the middle of the Factory, so I can’t speak much to table service, but everyone was incredibly nice and helpful while we waited. They even double-checked our bag before we left (which I love because something always seems to get messed up). This time? Nothing did. The food was bomb dot com. We honestly haven’t found great BBQ around here until now, and this just became our go-to spot. We’ll 100% be back.
