I went with a few friends and had the lamb kebab. The meat was well seasoned but a little tough. They only had butter knives so I couldn’t cut it into smaller pieces. The spicy Margarita was delicious. I removed the cauliflower, rice and garlic potatoes. Service was good – but it was weird that the server stood and watched us write the tip amount. Free self served parking.

So it was a take out order for us with 3 Shawarma and sides.
Once opened at home, the shawarmas pita bread has mold on them . Thought just one , but all three were wrapped in molded pita.
How can you close your eyes and don’t see them while making them , impossible!!
Please don’t serve such kind of food and make people sick.

Ordered through DoorDash. This isn’t beef shawarma. It’s beef that’s has been overcooked and is beyond chewy and has no flavor. The hummus is also full of water. I don’t recommend!

They have a good lunch buffet but if you come for dinner, there is a reason it is EMPTY. Their dinner sucks.. overpriced. Not transparent at all with drink prices. Very expensive and so little food. I ordered chicken shawarma and what I go was NOT it. They faked it by just cooking some chicken breast and chopping it into bits so you wouldn’t know… their spicy hummus is just regular hummus with pepper they slap on after the fact. Very lazy. The food tasted horrible. Gummy chicken . The kabob in my picture WAS NOT part of my meal, it was an addition so my base meal was very pathetic. Don’t bother coming here. This place really fell apart from what I once remembered.

Very fresh amazing food. The restaurant is comfortable and also offers a hookah option, the hookah area is open therefore the whole restaurant smells like it, not a problem for me as I enjoy it. On the weekends they offer live music and belly dancers (entry fee of $25). I recommend this restaurant and will soon come back!

Had an amazing dinner last night at Sanabels Mediterranean Grill & Bar! Tried out 3 different dishes, and the mutton was absolutely delicious. Enjoyed some Hoohak with the meal. The crowd was great, and the fact that they’re open till 1 am is a huge plus, especially since most places close by 11. Such a lovely evening.

This place is awesome! We live in Southern Illinois and when traveling we look for Greek Style/Mediterranean restaurants. We were greeted promptly and with a smile. They have a lunch buffet with lots of good options which my wife chose. I wanted lamb kabobs so I ordered off the menu. The staff is very friendly and the waiter was checking on us to make sure everything came out the way we wanted it to. If I lived closer I would eat here EVERY week.

Ohmygosh what a delicious meal. Excellent service without the exorbitant prices. We arrived around 7 PM. The restaurant was bare with the exception of us. What we didn’t realize is the restaurant was under renovation. However we were accommodated anyway. The service was exceptional tending to our every need. I believe it would not have mattered if the restaurant was full, we would have been treated with the same treatment. It certainly is a place I would visit again and again.
The food was authentic Mediterranean cuisine. Delicious in every sense. I had the gyro platter. As I write this, I’m still reminiscing about the flavors. My date had the lamb. If course I tried his food. I will definitely try the lamb on my next visit.

Good food. We tried Dolmas, Zesty Cauliflower, Spicy Hummus, Lemmon Pepper fries, Lamb Kabab, Chicken Shawarma and Falafel. Food was delicious and service was good. Since it was a saturday, it was very busy and hence delayed the service. Hookah is must try. Weekends have live music too but its bit too loud to have conversation while having dinner. Must visit place if you love Mediterranean cuisine.
