This place was found looking for a place to eat a steak for my client. The external structure looks like something from the movies. Then you walk in to the interior with a rustic look in a dsrker situation. The beauty lies on the antique look with beautiful stained glass.

Server looked like a local who has been working there for years. Knew her stuff, and gave us the general suggestion on what the recommendation was.

I had a cup of French onion soup which would be a prime example of how what you think of when ordering a French onion soup. They don’t over do it with saltiness and have just the right amount of cheese.

I believed to have ordered the New York strip around 12oz. The cooking temperature was on point. Rest assure that this steak is on the savory side so keep the condiments on the sideline until you feel the need.

The price point was generous coming from the tristate.

My husband and I went here this weekend to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary. The crab stuffed mushrooms and the hot & spicy jumbo shrimp appetizers were delicious. For entrees we got the 16oz Aged Delmonico cut ribeye and the 30oz Big Ribeye on the bone, we both ordered the mini yukon gold potatoes as our side, along with a side salad and French onion soup. The French onion soup was delicious. The steaks were cooked to perfection. I do wish the steak had a tad more flavor, but it was pretty good.
Shauna was our server, she was amazing. I would request her every single time. She was very attentive. It didn’t let us put on the reservation on the website that it was an anniversary dinner but she overheard us and made sure to serve our desserts (The cheesecake & Turtle Pie *chefs kiss*) with candles and told us Happy Anniversary, took out pic and posed us for the pic around our desserts. She was so sweet.
My ONLY complaint was the young man that took our food to be boxed up, didn’t box up our sides. I was looking forward to those potatoes with my leftovers and was sad that they weren’t in the box when I went to eat my leftovers today. But, all in all it was a great experience and we will be back.

This is a 40 mile trip so we haven’t been there in over 20 years. The restaurant hasn’t changed much in 20 years. The food is great and Michelle gave us superb service. We’ll be returning soon, it’s worth the long drive! The key lime pie is delicious!

A classic dining experience in Toledo. If you are looking for top notch steaks this is your place! I got the bone in NY Strip and it did melt in my mouth. Outstanding! My wife got the steak medallions and she loved those. My baked potato was delicious and the draft beer that has some lime in it was really good (forget the name). Ambiance, atmosphere, and great food highlight this restaurant. You will pay some, but it’s worth it!

This place is a gem of a steakhouse. Atmosphere has that nostalgic steakhouse feel w dim lights, Tiffany lighting, stained glass and more.

All the food was delicious. Wasn’t our first time or last time here.

Although pricier, I loved this experience. The restaurant is beautifully vintage and is the complete definition of “fine dining”.

They take their time in preparing your meal which allows you to really take in the atmosphere and spend quality time with your loved ones. However, I’m a first-time mom, and I was not prepared for the time It takes when it comes to their restaurant service. My infant needed to eat, so I asked if there was a more private place for me to feed my baby. They offered a large conference room in the back completely to ourselves to feed my baby. There was even an employee sitting at the table, in which they asked to leave. I was so incredibly impressed and grateful to the employees for accommodating our family.

Needless to say, after a gesture like this, this restaurant will always be our top choice when considering somewhere to treat ourselves.

As soon as you walk in the door, you know you are somewhere special. Critical I would say to have a reservation if you want a guaranteed seat, especially on the weekend. Eating a phenomenal steak in a throwback ambiance makes the dinner memorable. Love supporting a locally owned restaurant that has such deep history in the community.

The food was excellent, and our waitress was truly wonderful – attentive, friendly, and professional. Unfortunately….

… the pacing of the meal significantly detracted from the experience. As a family of six celebrating a special occasion and spending around $450, we expected a more relaxed, well-timed dinner. Our salads had barely arrived when our main courses were brought out just minutes later.

This forced us to rush. My steak sat cooling while I finished my salad, and my sons hurried through their salad so they could get to their meals. Shortly after, I was offered a box before I’d even had time to settle into the main course.

At this price point, guests aren’t coming just to eat, they’re coming to enjoy the experience, conversation, and time together. Better pacing between courses would have made a big difference. It was disappointing, because otherwise this would have been a fantastic evening.

Ordered my ribeye steak, medium came more well. Waitress was awesome, I asked for pasta with olive oil, garlic and parm instead of a potato. I know you only have a few pasta dishes, I was over the moon happy when she showed up with a side dish exactly how I wanted it!!
