So we came down from Michigan because we heard how good this place was. They did not disappoint at all. the atmosphere was great but the steaks oh my WORD. We will definitely be back and they are worth the 2 hour drive. The cook on each steak was perfect. The soups were both very good( French onion and the vegetable medley. The house steak sauce is definitely worth ordering aswell. The bread and crackers they serve up with there house whipped butter was a great starter and we bought some to go home with. We are already looking for a reason to come back.

This is NOT fine dining. We booked a reservation online for two over a month in advance, and they were not ready for us and instead ushered us into a booth for four, and did not give us any silverware or napkins. One steak was good, the other was seared only on the outside while the inside was totally raw. Everything else was prepared way too far in advance, and it showed in the quality as well as texture of the food. Some dishes should have been prepared when ordered. This was the first time we have been here, and it is the last.

Debbie was a complete joy. I was reluctant to sit at the bar after making a reservation on OpenTable at the wrong location. Im happy I stayed. The parking lot was packed and so was the restaurant so I had a feeling the food wouldn’t disappoint and it didn’t! I started with an extra dirty gin martini up with bleu cheese olives. The cheddar and broccoli was delicious. I ordered the 16 oz bone-in fillet for my entree mid rare and it was phenomenal. Next time I’ll likely try it with the bone marrow crust though. Baked potato was standard. my favorite part is that the bread pudding is HUGE! I washed it down with a scotch. I was semi disappointed that the bar had run out of candy cane syrup for the Christmas old fashioned but I was happy just to have the company of Deb and all the staff since I arrived within an hour of closing and they weren’t being pushy. Will definitely be back to visit whenever I’m in town. This was my first time here and they already feel like family. This type of hospitality you typically can only get in small towns or down south.

Best steakhouse in Northern Ohio. 100 plus years of steak and they are doing it right! Dark lighting with an almost mobster feel to the place. They make you feel special with the service and specialty drinks. Grab yourself some salmon dip and a lager beer and you wont be disappointed. Minus a sliver of a star for the hard croutons in the salad. You will have a long wait for a steak even during the week.
