I have to order the greatest crunchy wings, which are always hot and fresh, whenever I visit NOLA. I once had a cordial encounter with one of the owners and asked him how they managed to make the chicken so crunchy. He claimed that the sort of flour and grease—without giving any brand names—are what makes anything delicious.

It’s ok, but I always thought that fried rice was rice,egg ,vegetable, and you know the sauces .This was just plain shrimp and rice, which was kinda boring,but it ok.. Other than the rude woman who’s been there forever in a day is very rude!!!

I went for the first time during the noon lunch rush of contruction workers and regular customers. I was a bit worried it would take a while to get my order and wouldnt be able to enjoy my thirty minute lunch break. Service was so fast! Very impressive how quickly the cashier took orders and handed them out and kudos to the kitchen. Tasted excellent and good prices. I highly recommend.

The food was ok but customer service sucked.They have big as cuff a schedule posted on the door showing opening hours and closing hours.Opening hours said 11:00am closing hours said 9pm.Ok I get there at about 11:10am hungry ready to order and eat.I notice a guy sitting on the ground in front of the store.The outer gate to the doors were open,lights on,cars parked in back insinuating workers are there,so I pull the handle and the actual doors are locked so I took another look at the schedule to assure I saw 11:00am.Then the guy says yea they was suppose to be open at 11 and I said that’s what the sign says.So I dialed the number on the sign and went straight to voicemail.I wanted this food so bad I spent my entire lunch break outside the store waiting for them to open.Then when they opened I asked what happened to 11 and the response I received was well we open now u want to order or not.I was like wow,I only ordered because I had waited an hour already and I wanted that specific food for lunch.But the food was hot and fresh but the attitudes and late opening were unacceptable and I probly wont be going back there again.This was the Manchu on St.Bernard not on Claiborne Ave.to sum it up.

So it looks shady but it’s really ok. This Manchu isn’t as good as the one on Claiborne and Esplanade but it’ll do if you just want so good chicken wings in the area. The rice is just rice and baby shrimp so I always get fries. You can double the rice or fries but the chicken is actually the main attraction. It’s fast hot and good.

Usually they food be so good but this time I wanna cry ♀️ my rice was gummy, it tasted like they forgot to put the shrimp fried rice seasoning on it.. and my chicken nice and hot and crispy but it wasn’t seasoned this time at all. And I was already on the bridge and too far away to turn back so here I am… P.S A HUNGRY WOMAN……
