Fairly new ownership. I know the old owners ran a lot of people out but it has turned around 180 degrees. We love it. This is the only place we eat Japanese. Food and service are phenomenal. Visited on a Monday night (for our anniversary) and a Thursday night (for our daughters birthday)
Both times we had the place almost to ourselves. From the outside this place doesn’t look like much but the inside was clean and inviting. Staff are cheerful and friendly! The food is fresh and amazing with decent portions! The soups are really rich! And the ginger salad is the typical iceberg but the ginger dressing is better than usual not as sweet. The quality of the sashimi is obvious I’m usually hesitant to try it in a land lock state but I’m so glad we did. The hibachi had great flavor was cooked perfectly and my husband left full! My children devoured their food before we could get any pictures unfortunately, But we took some on our first night.
Every dish is decorated and made special. They were so good with my children without knowing it was a birthday. How I would love to keep them our little secret place but I want them to succeed! Keep this restaurant in business please! What they lack from the outside looking in Manchester has a treasure we travel from McMinnville to enjoy!

At first glance this place seems kinda basic. I assure you it’s a hidden gem. We came in and only saw a few staff working and were a bit iffy on whether to stay. We were promptly greeted and sat. The food took a while to get to us but our server kept tabs on us the whole time. Chef was working his ass off just pumping orders out. We ordered sushi and a noodle plate and it was AMAZING. Totally worth the wait. The sashimi was SUPER THICK and the prices were more than fair. Recommended.

Last minute decision, was awesome, so glad we did. The best miso, ginger and yum yum for side salad. Very clean tables. Service was great. Had the dragon roll, smoked salmon sushi, California rolls.

The food was fresh, hot, & quick! We had hibachi chicken and chicken soba! The restaurant was clean, staff was friendly, & the environment was relaxing! They don’t have much business it seems, but Manchester should change that! You won’t be disappointed!

Had lunch here a couple weeks ago and it was so delicious and the place is so clean and such good service I had to bring my wife and two oldest out for dinner here. The place did not disappoint with some excellent green tea and eel & avocado roll to start. The Miso soup was quite nice with the tofu and wakame. The ginger dressing tastes homemade and the salad was nice, cold and crisp. The bento box came out with the lovely presentation you see in the photo and the flavors were excellent. The orange presented at the end was a nice touch and a refreshing way to finish. The outside at night is not as inviting as I would like but you will be welcome and enjoy your experience here if you venture in to have some good Japanese cuisine. The old adage, do not judge a book by its cover is evident once you walk through the doors. 楽しむ

Ordered delivery. Sushi was pretty tasteless and warm( I live .6 miles away). Did not get order correct. I’ll just go further towards Murfreesboro or Nashville for good sushi.

I asked for extra ginger. Both my friend and I both like it. I just wanted enough for two people. Instead of doing that they put a giant dollop of wasabi in a small cup bigger than I’ve ever received anywhere and put ginger on top of it to make it seem full. I just thought that was odd. I personally didn’t enjoy the taste of the sushi, but it’s okay. As seen in pics we tried it and didn’t like it enough to eat it all/half. The miso soup was really good though

I recently started working near here and when I first tried it out I knew it was some of the best Japanese food I’ve ever had the server there is also so kind and always remembers specific stuff I order and is always helpful ☺️ 10/10 would recommend
