Manantial never disappoints. I’ve done both dine-in and takeout, and the quality is consistently excellent. The pan con pollo was flavorful, fresh, and generously portioned — tender chicken, perfectly seasoned, and assembled just right.
I also tried their pupusas revueltas, especially during their discounted pupusa Thursdays, and they were outstanding. Cooked fresh, packed with flavor, and served hot with curtido and salsa that complemented everything perfectly. You can really taste the authenticity and care put into the food.

Whether you’re eating in or taking it to go, the service is friendly and efficient, and the food holds up every time. Great value, authentic Salvadoran flavors, and definitely a spot worth coming back to. Highly recommend!

Usually, I have to get good pupusas in Palmdale. I finally found my GO TO place for Central American deliciousness. They had a $2.50 special on Pupusas Revueltas on a Thursday. They were so good and tasty. Super fresh. I also ordered the fried plantain, with beans and sour cream. Oh so good! Hit the spot. They have many breakfast options and you can get them at anytime of day. They also have a variety of ice cream treats and various snack treats. Best of all the Agua frescas are all natural no syrup. I had an authentic horchata so yummy. I work for AAA and this will be my new lunch grab place. The cashiers super attentive and nice you just need to take your time to talk to people and get to know them for the first time before jumping to conclusions. They work really hard to bring their best forward you can tell. This is not fast food, you have to be patient. And we still received our food in a timely manner. Love this place. Update: went again to try their Desayuno Tipico (Typical Breakfast) very authentic. Delicious. Also had the fresh green juice with my meal and it has now become my favorite go to place. I shall return.

The ice cream was soooo delicious! The atmosphere is definitely inviting. They have games on the table while you wait for your treats. You can really tell they take their time making it as it was so mouth watering. So do not rush them at all. It’s worth the wait. The cashier was really nice especially if it’s your first time here and helped us understand the menu to place an order. I will definitely be getting my ice cream from here now

The service here was one of, if not THE WORST experience I’ve EVER had, and we didn’t even sit and eat… we ordered to go. Cashier is rude and seems extremely entitled To summon it up I was given a wrong order, ignored by the cooks, and disrespected by the rudest cashier in history all while waiting for almost an hour . Came in just before 10:30 am on Sunday, we were the only customers at the time, we placed an order for 8 pupusas to go, then proceeded to sit. After about 10 minutes, a guy walks in whom im assuming is a regular because the cooks left their post to speak to him personally. They took his order, charged him and he sat. About 10 minutes later the cashier comes out the back from where she’s been hiding the entire time, grabs a bag and tells me my order is ready, I asked her twice if she was sure it was mine and she said yes so I went up and started checking it because I saw the cooks only place 5 pupusas in there. The cook tells the cashier that’s not mine and they hand it to the guy who walked in after me. I was confused and appalled at the fact that only after completing his order did they begin working on mine even though I’ve been sitting there for over 20 minutes at this point. I didn’t make a fuzz, i patiently sat back down and waited, uncomfortable with the stares from the staff but nonetheless. After almost 40 minutes my order was finally ready, cashier comes out once more from her hiding spot in the back and tells me my order is ready the retrieves to the back once more. Again, I double check my order and as im doing so i notice all the pupusas are already stuck together *see picture*, so naturally i asked why they packed all 8 into one tiny container and if they could at least separate them into 2 containers. It was obvious neither cook spoke english so they go find the cashier, she proceeds to tell me that’s how to go orders are packed and they can’t change it i said “Ok do you at least have disposable plates” she replied “no” so i said “can i at least get napkins and forks” she said “they’re in the bag” i said “there isn’t any in there” she then claims “she (the cook) put them (napkins and forks) in there”. Now I’m agitated at the fact that she is adamant although wrong, so i replied “lady do you want to check” as I’m holding the clear plastic bag wide open for her to see. She rolled her eyes, grabbed a napkin and a fork and before she handed it to me she had the AUDACITY to tell me “you’re just mad because we don’t have any plates” LADY WHATTTT??? I said “no, I’m upset that although it’s a TO-GO order there’s no cutlery or condiments”, she said “all you had to do is ask” i replied ” i shouldn’t have to if it’s a TO-GO order” then she continued to escalate it from there. Literally WORST customer service experience!!

If you’re coming to eat Salvadorian food, this is what you should expect;
Time to be served; coffee 10 minutes, food 42 minutes. I asked for a straw, and she asked me for what? It was first place that questions me why I needed a straw. I ordered a tamale, and it was still frozen. After everything, the food was good 10/10 except for th3 tamale we gave back. Service 1/10. I will not be coming back.

My mom has been talking about this hidden gem for a while, and I finally tried it today. The pupusas look a little different, but in the best way possible. The texture of the rice pupusas reminded me of mi little Pulgarcito, with that soft, buttery rice flour that melts in your mouth. The pupusas de maíz also stand out because they don’t taste like maseca. Most places use generic corn flour and you can taste the difference, but here everything tastes fresh, authentic, and made with care.

& don’t forget to ask for their spicy salsa. This place gets a 10/10.

I honestly feel bad writing this because the owners are such kind and genuine people, they always go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect when they’re around, but unfortunately, the workers don’t show that same level of care.

When we walked in, no one came to greet us or take our order; instead, the staff were standing in the kitchen gossiping and glancing our way while ignoring us. Every single table in the restaurant was dirty, and when I politely asked one of the workers if she could clean ours, she did it with a bad attitude and barely wiped it down. I’m really not a picky person, but it was disappointing to see that every table was in the same condition.

We ordered drinks and Salvadoran food. The drinks came out after about 10–15 minutes, but the food took almost an hour to arrive. Once we finished eating, we waited about 30 minutes after asking for the check, and then another 10 minutes standing at the cashier because no one came to take our payment, even though the staff could clearly see us waiting.

The food itself was good, but the service really needs improvement, especially since the owners clearly care so much about their business and the experience they want their customers to have.

I always thought this was a dessert spot to my surprise this is a Salvadoran restaurant. Today I was able to try their frozen treat and I enjoyed the strawberry and cheesecake. Aesthetic and delicious. I look forward to coming again for Salvadoran dishes.
