Tried Manakish Oven & Grill in San Jose and absolutely loved it! Everything is made fresh from scratch — no preservatives and nothing frozen, which you can really taste.

We ordered the jalapeño hummus with fresh pita (so good!), chicken shawarma bowl, veggie supreme manakish, zaatar & cheese manakish, kefta kebab plate, and a falafel wrap with fries — every dish was flavorful, well-seasoned, and generously portioned.

For drinks, the fresh strawberry juice and mint lemonade were super refreshing, and the cheese kanafeh was the perfect way to end the meal.

The staff was welcoming, the food came out fresh, and it’s a great spot whether you’re dining in or grabbing food near the airport. They also offer catering, which is a plus.

This hidden gem sits in a quiet area, but it stands out beautifully at night with its bright, welcoming atmosphere. The interior is spotless and thoughtfully maintained, creating a comfortable dining experience. We tried several appetizers and a flatbread—everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. We stumbled upon this place by chance, but we absolutely loved it and can’t wait to come back!

This place is the bomb.
I got the chicken shwarma bowl and my partner got the cauliflower eggplant bowl. But the shwarna knocked it out the park. And they have a nice selection of carbonated beverages. But seriously try the shwarma bowl you will not be disappointed. I really enjoyed it for the price as well. Its made to order so you know its fresh. The place is clean and to top it off the kenafe was delicious to end the meal with. I have pictures.

Let me start off with FABULOUS! GIVE ME 14 OF THEM!!! This Mediterranean spot is definitely one to give a try. So much flavor, portion and presentation! It’s a 100/10 for me. Don’t let forget to mention the customer service was definitely top tier. I’ll be returning to try the wraps next then the flat breads lol. I got the Chicken Shawarma plate

I drove all the way from San Francisco just to try this restaurant, and it was totally worth it! I ordered 4 different dishes, the portions were huge, and the food was absolutely amazing. I keep recommending it to everyone! Highly recommended

Absolute rip off for the price they are charging! Take a look at that miniature container of Tabouleh. Guess how much it cost? Hold tight! It’s $9.95!!

We spent $70 on one Manakish (the size of a medium sized pizza), a falafel bowl, that tiny box of Tabouleh and two baklavas. It’s not even a proper restaurant but more of a takeout place where they have tables to sit and eat.

It’s in a shabby industrial neighborhood and parking is just street parking.

I will take my $70 elsewhere next time.

My first experience was excellent. My daughter and I both got wraps-she chicken and me tri-tip. The wraps were delicious. I love the inclusion of California protein like Tri-tip in an ethnic food (I love lamb and beef, but this was too good to pass up).

I ordered the hummus as well, and the owner threw in a sample of the jalapeno hummus for free. Both are smooth, rich, and delicious as well. The pita are soft and fluffy, just like you like.

Will be back again!

We just discovered this place and loved it! We had the chicken shawarma bowl and the cauliflower sharma bowl. Both were fresh and delicious, not to mention large portions. For dessert we had the kanafeh which was equally delicious. The manager was very friendly and welcoming and talked to us for quite a while about the restaurant and the food options that they will be adding to the menu. We are already planning to come back and try some more dishes.
