New to Kansas drive 35 extra minutes just to come down here at 5PM on a Sunday… just wanted to try some kava for the first time as this place caught my attention and thought it would be delightful. But they were closed. Update your website and say your going to be closed at 5 instead of 6. If your open till 6 then stay open till 6. Also update your phone number so people can call and ask it you guys are open instead of it saying “this line is disconnected.” Hopefully new people have a better experience.

I arrived at the store at 5PM with intention to buy a triple kava drink, I saw a sign on the front door that stated the store closes at 5:30, so I walked in to order. The man working (who I’ve had negative interactions with before) proceeded to tell me they weren’t serving anything as he was closing, which I understood. When I asked him about products, he either gave me short, snippy responses, or completely ignored me. Finally, he just told me to leave as he was “busy closing”. I work in the service industry and am used to staying open a little later in order to meet customer needs if they’re reasonable. I’ve came here for the last 6 years as a customer whenever I pass through Lawrence and have told my friends about this place. I will not be stopping by again and will discourage people I know from coming. I usually have overall good experiences with Mana Bar, today was extremely disappointing.

One of my fave spots downtown. The vibe is great, employees are helpful, and quality of drinks are top notch. Their Rose Latte is probably my favorite beverage from any cafe I’ve ever visited.

Walked in. No one there. I’m new to the game so I had some questions. One the owners was really stand offish (he was the only worker there) and very unhelpful. Didn’t want to answer my question. However, he did give me a free sample. They have loose leaf tea, kava and Kratom. BUT, IF YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOURE LOOKING FOR THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU.

One of the best tea places I’ve been to! The staff knows a ton and cares a lot about the quality of the tea they’ll make fresh. Can be a bit scary or intimidating for people not used to teas outside of store-bought, but the staff is more than willing to help you find something you like and answer any questions you have. The place has a great atmosphere and is a great place to cozy up and just relax with some tea.

I have only bought tea from this joint to take home and brew. Probably the best place to get some loose leaf tea in LFK. Has gaiwans and tons of other tea accessories! Excellent staff! Pretty cozy joint.
