It’s been a long time that I have have great Cuban food in the Atlanta area, but Mambo’s takes the cake! I am of Cuban descent, and a friend of mines knows how picky I am about Cuban food, and told me about how good Mambo’s was. He was right! I always gauge how good a Cuban restaurant is by how good the black beans are. Well, after the first taste, I knew thos was going to be awesome! The vaca frita I had, was as good, if not better than any I’ve had in Tampa or Miami! Gracias Mambo’s for a great experience! We’ll see you very soon! Can’t wait to try you Bistec Milanessa!

It was a new experience for sure. Menu titles were a bit hard to read due to language barrier, and I was a vegetarian so relied on the hostess’ suggestion to order the food. The starter was to die for but the rice antree was too salty 🙁 the coffee was amazing, best one I have had in a while. maybe should have ordered apatizers only.

We had a wonderful team lunch at Mambo’s Cafe in Alpharetta to bid farewell to a colleague. There were 10 of us, and we enjoyed our time out on their patio, which was perfect for relaxed conversations and great food.
We tried a variety of dishes from their lunch specials—Pechuga De Pollo A La Plancha, Pechuga De Pollo en Salsa De Champiñones, and the Vegetarian Paella. All of them came with delicious yellow rice, sweet grilled plantains, and black beans. The Patatas Bravas and chips with guacamole were shared among the table and were perfect starters. We especially loved their green sauce, which packed a spicy kick and paired beautifully with everything we tried.
Service was excellent—our server was attentive and friendly. They even brought out garlic bread while we waited, which was a thoughtful touch that kept everyone happy and not hangry!
Overall, great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend Mambo’s for group gatherings and casual Latin cuisine!

Always love this place!!! Plantain are always so moist and delicious. Cuban sandwich is consistently good. Everything about this place tells you the people love working here and the food is always top notch. The bread and spicy green sauce when you arrive hits the spot perfectly.

This is one of my favorite places and has been for years. I’m puerto rican and some of my favorite dishes are really hard to find here in Georgia. When I saw ropa vieja and papa rellena on their menu, I had to try and they did NOT disappoint. They do it perfectly every single time. The bread & peruvian green sauce they give to you before you order is also perfect. I’m addicted to that sauce – I could eat a whole meal of just that lol (it’s spicy, just a heads up if you have a low spice tolerance). Their enchilados de vegetales is also bomb. It’s a very comforting, homey experience for me and I 100% recommend.

Our family group of 15 had an amazing experience here! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us seamlessly, making sure we were comfortable throughout our visit. Our waiter was exceptional, offering fantastic recommendations that we all loved. Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious, and the flavors were spot on. Absolutely amazing food! I ordered the Lomo Saltado. My food was cooked perfectly. Fries were crisp and hot, steak was tender and juicy, veggies were nicely sautéed, yellow rice was on point, and I don’t even like plantains, and these were so good. They give you bread with a spicy green Peruvian sauce to dip it into. Everything tasted so good.
I sat at the bar and ordered a Moscow Mule…as a former bartender, my drink was on point.
It’s a great place for date night or just eating out. Restaurant was very clean, and customer service was on point from the time I came in the door. The bartender was friendly and answered all of my questions as I told her it was my first time here.
For the price, it’s worth the money you spend. I highly recommend coming here. It’s a great place for date night or hanging with friends. The vibes are great! I definitely plan to return here again.
