Food was good. The Taste of New Orleans was tasty. The gumbo and red beans with sausage were delicious! The burger was enjoyed by my son and my wife enjoyed the shrimp and grits very much. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Gabrielle was a wonderful server.

The food is very good. The Mambo’s Famous Oysters are a MUST! Gabrielle C. was our waitress and provided amazing service! She was very attentive to us. We got the shrimp and grits, red bean and rice with crispy chicken and the Mambo’s Famous Oysters and have no complaints! We’ll be back.

While vacationing in New Orleans, Louisiana for my very 1st time, Bourbon St. was a MUST visit location. I wanted to try some authentic Cajun food and Mambo’s did NOT disappoint. I tried alligator (for the 1st time EVER) and their gator bites were delicious. I instantly loved them! The jambalaya was good. The highlight of the meal had to be their bread pudding. If you enjoy raisins in bread pudding like I do, get it!! We went back a second time just for dessert.

This place was excellent. All the food was nice and hot. Our party of 8 was served very timely. Oysters were really good, the sauce kicked it off. The taste of New Orleans trio was wonderful! I got taste 3 classic dishes at one time. Will definitely be back!

We were in town visiting for the 4th and had no clue where to eat from. We wanted the Bourbon St. area and a location kid friendly. We walked right in and were seated. Waitress came shortly afterward and took our order. She was helpful and provided great suggestions. It didn’t take very long for the food to come, which we may have not noticed since the vibe from the selection of music was so good. The place gradually became packed, which let me know we came to the right place.

This restaurant is right on bourbon street and we were seated instantly! no reservation or anything it was unbelievable, the service for a restaurant on bourbon street is amazing, it is extremely loud but I would give the atmosphere 6 stars if possible. The food was also great. Would recommend it if you don’t mind the madness of bourbon street at dinner time.

The Rockefeller and Mambo oysters were good. The waitress stated to add crawfish tails to the Mambo oysters. It made those good. The bread pudding was good. The only thing that was not good was the shrimp po boy that my mother ordered, it was semi cold but the shrimp didn’t have flavor and the po not was dry. Won’t order that again. We also tried the taste of Louisiana and didn’t really care for it. No flavor either.

Great spot to get fried alligator, and yes it tastes like chicken! The oysters were good too, and I’m not an oyster person. Would definitely recommend to get.

First, from being greeted by Malcolm at the door so warm and inviting, then the ambience we loved all the lit signs and great spots for photo ops throughout and then we reached the top floor where there is rooftop seating with a great view, it was so very hot so we opted to sit inside and had one of the best servers we have ever had, Dee was amazing, he felt like kin, he felt like home and it’s not often in this world we encounter people with his warm spirit. He knew the menu like the back of his hand and because of that it made it hard for us to decide which dish we wanted. But the special was a blackened flounder over a delicious pasta but when Dee mentioned he had it with the fried fish I needed to try it and thought it best for my hangover, it was delicious. The food, atmosphere, and great service are the reason this place comes so highly recommended.
