Was looking for a new place to try. MawMaw’s did not disappoint.

Shawney was my main server, but everyone working was pitching in and helping everyone out.

The atmosphere has a bit of a barn-like feel…rustic and cozy. The menu is not overloaded, but has a wide variety to satisfy everyone.

I started off with fried jalapeños. They came out nice and hot.

I tried the philly cheesesteak & sweet potato fries. The cheesesteak had a nice, soft hoagie bun loaded with shaved steak, peppers, onions, mushrooms & cheese. Everything you’d expect in a delicious cheesesteak. The sweet potato fries were cooked perfectly and served with a sweet dipping sauce (not my “thing”, but I know most would LOVE it).

I wrapped up my meal with a slice of banana creme pie. It was delicious! They have a great selection of pies, cake, cookies, cinnamon rolls and cibnkers. I took some cookies “to-go”. I’m sure I’ll enjoy those with milk very soon.

Overall, a good value, great food, phenomenal service, in a comfy environment. I’ll absolutely be back!

I have driven by this place (through this town) a few times and every single time it’s caught my eyes. Not only because this is an adorable little town that decorates according to the time of year and holiday season but also because of the craftsmanship of the wood aesthetic of the restaurant. It’s notable and nice. Driving home after work and I stopped in just to see if maybe they have something for me. Vegan not so much (They could get you something vegan if you’re willing to go with a simple salad minus a few ingredients or alter a few other items/things on their menu. Like they suggested a stir fry dish that comes with meat in it and they could leave it out of it and they were more than happy to do that if needed. So please don’t hesitate to try here you might just need to communicate with them a little more. I appreciated just how accommodating they could be. Any of the deep fried stuff there could be possibly cross-contamination cause it is the same fryer. You just need to be understanding). They could easily do vegetarian so I compromised and treated myself to a stuffed potato (chicken on the side for my fur-babies) which just left me with a potato that had cheese on it. Not 100% sure if it should have had anything else since I don’t recall the description saying anything specific about what it would be stuffed with other than cheese and chicken. It did come with a roll which was soft and I enjoyed. I also ordered an appetizer of fried green tomatoes after they were highly recommended (recommendation on point!) They came with ranch dressing and was delicious. The breading wasn’t too thick and it had a good seasoning to it. Plus this place has an incredible selection of desert items so I ordered a slice of Italian cream cake and it was very good. I didn’t realize that they had cobbler until after I ordered otherwise I would have liked to try one of those choices. Something else I noticed besides all of the beautiful Christmas decorations through out the restaurant was that they also had frozen coffee which was a pleasant surprise. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. They answered all of my questions and made sure to verify with the cook to make sure certain specific questions I asked were answered correctly. Like can I get grilled unseasoned chicken instead of fajita chicken since it was going to my girls and I didn’t want to expose them to any spices that aren’t good for dogs. I took quite a few pictures so you can get a good feel for the place.

I went in the other night and took them up on the offer to try the black bean burger(it’s delicious! Great seasoning to it, good size, and most definitely recommend). I ordered a few other things too. All very good. I also wanted to speak with the owner and let her know that none of the staff told me that about the fryers. I hate to assume but I do sometimes assume the thing about the fryers in restaurants. All places should have a system like yours if possible by having a dedicated fryer for meat/seafood. After speaking with her I also learned that she typically keeps the desserts with peanuts away from the others in case of customer allergies. She also mentioned and I observed some of the customers service that her staff has. It really shows and it is these little details that really make her/the restaurant/and all who work there stand out. Coming back in gave me a chance to try some cobbler (blackberry and pecan cobbler) never knew pecan cobbler was a thing but so glad it is! For signing up for their rewards program I got a free slice of meringue pie. Their rewards program is like a way of saying thank you to their customers. You can earn points and get free food. If you want really great customer service and good food to go with it stop in here and give them a try. I’m sure you can find something for everyone. I even saw a gluten free option in the bakery section. I enjoyed speaking with everyone there and they all did a fantastic job but a special thanks to Anita Fletcher for taking care of me!

This was our first trip to MawMaws and we will definitely be back! I ordered an onion burger and fries and my son ordered the catfish and mac-n-cheese. My cheeseburger was delish – moist, thick and cooked just perfect! The fries were crunchy and well seasoned. My son gets catfish a lot wherever we go and said MawMaws was one of his favorites for catfish – that’s saying a lot! Once we were done with lunch, we made our way over to the desserts and my oh my, the selection and flavor did not disappoint! All in all, great food, reasonable prices and fantastic service! Highly recommend a stop at MawMaws! We will definitely be back!

Best hands down was one of the best meals that I have had in probably my entire life! The portions were great the prices were literally unbelievable. Everything was great! This will be our regular go to spot over any place eles. The huge menu literally has something for everyone! To learn this place has only been open a year was shocking because you would have thought this gem of a restaurant had been open for decades. 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The best place to go! New customer for life. This is what I have been searching for! I am editing my post as of February 7th I went in today and got two meals got all the way back to the house and realized that they had made a mistake I called and at first they were going to credit me back so I could come back and get what I wanted later but then they called me back and said they are personally going to deliver the meals that they had made a mistake on to my house 25 minutes away now that hands down is the best customer service I’ve ever experienced in my entire life!!! 1000/10

I got the calf fries, which were delicious and my husband got the smothered waffle fries which was part of their “Fair Food”, great food overall however we both left there hungry! The portions are soooo small, and it’s not like we eat like horses it’s just that their portions are all “kiddie sized” but are still regular priced. A slice of cheese cake or cake/pie was $9.99!!! You literally can buy a whole pie for that price!

Driving through Prague, this cafe caught our eye and we stopped for supper. The decor, outside and inside, gave a welcoming atmosphere. The extensive menu had several tempting options for appetizers and we went with the fried pickle spears and chips with queso and salsa. The salsa was a surprise as it was sweet, but it was good. The fried pickles were excellent! The Littles went with their usual cheeseburgers, one with a side salad and one with fries. Mrs. Flip Out and I also had side salads, and all were very fresh. Mrs. Flip Out tried the fried fish plate with fried green beans and enjoyed both. It was very good and Littlest Flip Out also enjoyed trying her dinner with thumbs up. I had the Tuff’s chicken, upon the recommendation of our waiter, and it was excellent! The chicken had great flavor and all of the dipping sauces were delicious. The dessert case looked awesome and next time, we will have to save room to try something. It all looked terrific! The wait staff was super friendly and helpful; it was easy to see why it is a local favorite, and well worth the short detour from I-40.

The BEST little Cafe I’ve ever eaten at. Everything here is delicious. I had the Salisbury Steak and my partner had the Fettuccine Alfredo! The chicken on the Alfredo was delicious, and the Salisbury Steak and mashed potatoes were amazing too. I also had their blackberry cobbler and it was the best thing I’ve ever tasted. We were both stuffed, but couldn’t stop eating! I live an hour away, but will definitely be going out of my way to visit here again.

We recently visited Mamaw’s Cafe and it was just what we were looking for in a small town restaurant. From the moment we walked through the door, you are greeted with the kind of genuine, warm hospitality that makes you feel like family. The customer service was fantastic and Abby was awesome. She was friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we were well-taken care of.
The Chicken Fried Steak was hands down, the best I have had in years. It’s hand-breaded and seasoned to perfection, with a wonderfully crispy crust that stays attached to the tender, flavorful meat. Smothered in their rich white gravy and served with real mashed potatoes, it’s a massive, Just what you expect from an Oklahoma restaurant. The Gator bites were great and the Jalapeño Ranch dip was perfect for the well seasoned and tender bites.
Wish we lived here because we would be here as much as possible.

This place is such a gem and worth the side trip on a long road trip. We are passing through and happened to pull over at 10a.m. on a Friday morning and boy were we pleased!! The menu is SPRAWLING and it reminds me of a Saturday/Sunday morning with my grandparents. Do yourself a favor and bypass your fast food and take the time. They have bakery items, some in house and some imported from local places, that I couldn’t make room for! We sat in the little tea room portion. All of the details were thought of in this restaurant from floor to ceiling and even the locks on the bathroom door. Great job to the owners and the staff. Our waitress was absolutely an angel and it felt like she was welcoming us to the city like a Mayor’s pride would.
