Mama’s Pizza has been serving Omaha pizza Since 1975 and has been operated by the Harwood Family for over 40 years. At Mama’s, we are known for our homemade pizzas, which are made with the freshest of ingredients and are prepared daily in each of our kitchens. To ensure quality, we make our pizza dough in-house every day, and sometimes each location in Omaha and La Vista can go through over 500 lbs a day! Here at Mama’s, we also cook ground beef daily, which is one of our most popular pizza toppings. Each of the three stores cooks over 1000 lbs a week, 30 lbs at a time! We recommend trying our Mama’s Classic Beef Pizza, which comes loaded with freshly cooked beef and our hand sliced mozzarella cheese. It’s an Omaha favorite!

The customer service and appreciation here is second to none! My family is newer to Nebraska and we called yesterday to ask if they do a family size pasta portion. We were transferred to Brian who said they don’t typically but he had enough time to whip it up for us and was more than happy to do so. Our special made order of alfedo was amazing!! They are so kind and warm here- customers for life!

I had initially given two stars as my order was wrong and I was not satisfied with the answer I received from the staff about it. However, I took up with the management and Brian was very helpful in resolving the issue. Some businesses still care about their customers and I would recommend this place.
Food quality is great and they have a lot of variety in toppings. The cream cheese is a must-try!

Mama’s staff is always so friendly and inviting every time we get take out here. This is our to anytime we need a great pizza, fresh salad or that cure for a random pork tenderloin craving! A great gluten free option for our celiac child as well.

A new must-go-to place because the food is so great! The owner/manager greeted us, took our order, and visited with us until our pizza was ready. We ordered a couple of different gluten-free pizzas and they were fantastic, especially the chicken club! Only drive thru or pick-up, but a little room to wait. Can’t wait to get there again!

Freedom Isn’t free
Excellent food. Busy on a Friday, to be expected with Husker football tonight and volleyball plus high school football… so yes, they were swamped. The team is solid, kind, courteous and working hard. The waiting room was packed but the energy was good because we ALL knew we were getting good food. When the food was handed out, the staff apologized for the wait. Got home, we smashed that pizza!!! Thank you!
