My wife and I have been customers for a long time, even after we moved to Kannapolis we always make a special trip to Mama’s because the pizza was that good. Sadly they appear to have gone downhill, we ordered our usual pizza with eggplant and usually it has big dollops of ricotta on it this time nothing it was a regular pie with eggplant thrown on top. The guy who brought it to our table even tried to cover up and say it was mixed in, if this is how they are going to treat loyal customers then I’ll move on. They have finally replaced the aging seats, the new ones are comfortable.

I fear this place has gone downhill. We’ve been ordering pizza from here for years. Tonight it took 2 hours and additional phone calls to get this burnt pizza. Pretty sure they took a cooked pizza and ran it through again and then brought it to us. Quality control is absent. That new corner crust place might be worth a try

We’re NYC transplants since 2010, this is where we go for NY style pizza. The crust, the cook, the cheese blend & sauce, plus knowing how to do ‘well done’ when requested…no one in the area does it better. If you want a change of pace…get the Grandma Pie. Their sausage is insanely good on a pie, in a hero, or just on the side. The Hero/Sub options are also compelling…try The Nicky Special Or the Chicken Philly!
Recently renovated, it still has that classic pizza parlor feel. The staff is friendly and knows the regulars by name. Be patient when they’re busy if you call in…they’ll get to you!

Been going to mama’s for 10 years unfortunately might have to look for a new location.My last meatball subs under side was burned and the cheese was hard and that great meal was priced at 15 dollars. 15 dollars for a burnt sub and burnt extra cheese.

I am a regular customer of this pizzeria but this disappoints me, the attitude of the person who made the pizza today was quite stressful, I saw him working quite unhappy and I can even see it in the pizza they delivered to me, it seems that he didn’t have any ingredients or he just made the pizza to get by, I can’t believe the amount of ham and bacon he put on it, this place is my favorite to eat pizza but simply if this happens again I will not return, the attention to the person who ordered the pizza was friendly but the one who made the pizza denied the ingredients and I am unhappy . I just edited my review to complete, my wings were not served complete, what a disappointment

Food is fine and the staff is always pleasant. Was given an old menu with old pricing and was told pricing may be different. Was expecting like a dollar difference since youre still giving out old menus. But chicken fingers went up 4 dollars and wings 5 dollars. Drastic difference when youre handing out a menu with a lower price.
