This place went from 2 to 4 stars when the food arrived. Kalua pork was amazing as was the macadamia tilapia. My kids really liked the white rice with Mac and cheese. On the down side the restaurant itself needs work. The restrooms are not good and smell. The whole dining room needs to be renovated and kind of smells funny. The food was so good though that we’ll be back… Maybe take out

Order processed quickly and accurately. We got the $13.99 plate of 2 meats and 2 sides. Coconut Shrimp and Kalua Pork (shredded and juicy) with white rice and a garden salad. So, so yummy. You can TASTE the coconut. And the pork melts in your mouth. Heavenly meats and delicious, fresh sides. The salad is incredibly colorful and just-chopped. The Upside-down Cake with a pineapple ring and maraschino cherry baked on was a complete disappointment. I’m sure my mom’s was a recipe using a white cake mix, but it was light and delicious. This was heavy, wet, and the taste was wrong. It’s my 2nd try eating it (I have such high hopes), so I won’t be wasting big bucks on that again.
Try the Big Kahuna Plate with my three favorite meats: beef, pork, chicken. Two of us enjoy it WITH LEFTOVERS.

I use to live in hawaii. The food heres basicly a knockoff of an L and L with way less choices. The size of the 9 to 15 dollar plate lunches is the quantity of a mini. The katsu is made out of breast all dry, katsus usually cleaned thighs pounded. The kalbi short ribs are ok. Nothing special. Work on your authenticity it will sell better.

Food is amazing, chicken katsu and chicken teriyaki are my favorite, don’t forget the macaroni salad and fries, they are to die for. I’ve tried most of the desserts and they’re not good that’s the only bad thing I have to say about this place.
