Very disappointing! We ordered the garlic knots for appetizer, and the bread was great but had no garlic flavor to it. It was still OK because we love bread. My husband ordered the Chicken Marsala. They were out of the side dish and the Marsala sauce was over-reduced, giving it too strong a taste. I ordered Dad’s Linguine and Clams in the white sauce. The clams tasted like they came out of a can, so did the sauce. The linguine was actually fettuccine, which in itself was fine but mixed with the canned clams and sauce, it was not edible, The service was poor at best. Not going back there.

I had a calzone today from this place. It was the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve been to New York many times. Service was great and Mama, the owner, is very friendly. You will kick yourself for never trying Mama’s 5 sons. It is the best Italian food ever!!!

Traveled 20 miles to this restaurant because we heard it was really good. Owners seemed nice. Seated us in the back of the restaurant and they were not busy. Service was not good….asked for water 3 times, got appetizer and had to ask for plates and server was more attentive to patrons he knew. The owner ask if it was our first visit and we felt that returning patrons were more attended to. Food was okay. We wished that we had went to The Savory Spoon down the road instead of trying this place. Won’t go back!

They were not busy and sat us in the back too. It took a while for them to take our order because they were hanging out with the folks at the bar. Because we were in the back we didn’t get stellar service. Frozen TV dinner meals are better. Bread was good.

Best italian restaurant around. Yes sometimes they are a bit slow but food is amazing, soups are so good. Food taste it was made with love, that there is what matters to me.
