We walked in for lunch with a group of 11 and we were seated quickly. Our orders were all correct and the waiter was kind about giving us all separate bills. He even handed back all of the credit cards to the correct person. The food came out quickly and I really enjoyed my fajitas. Thanks for the great service and food!

We were passing through Genoa on our way home from Toledo and saw the restaurant and decided to stop. It was really nice, new and clean with a nice atmosphere. Everyone was very pleasant the service was really good and my Shrimp Cozumel was amazing. We will be coming back.

I was very disappointed with my 2 chimichanga carte that I ordered for carry out tonight. The ground beef was dry and had very little taste. The white queso cheese was runny and almost nonexistent (only 1 tablespoon to be shared for the two). The chimichangas tasted like they had been frozen and microwaved.
I have had the same menu item in the restaurant before and for carry out before and liked it. I would have refused to accept the meals if I had been eating in the restaurant.
What seems to be problem? Please bring the good food back.

So, so happy Cocina de Carlos has come to Genoa. Great food, friendly staff, and fast service. I got the chimichanga with the Chicken Tinga. It was very good, but will try another meat next time. My wife ordered the Enchiladas Verde. One of the best enchilada dishes she has ever had!

We heard a lot of great things about this place, but were disappointed in the food. My guacamole had so many onions that’s all I tasted, even though I love onions, it was overwhelming. My shrimp was so salty I could barely eat it and my husband’s chimichanga had just the shell and dried up chicken in it. The veggies in the rice look like they come out of freeze dried packets like you get with ramen. The service was good but felt rushed. Okay atmosphere.

We live in Millbury, about 4 miles away & have been waiting for this restaurant to open. We usually go to the Perrysburg location, but no more. We will definitely be coming to this location from now on!! Everyone was so nice, greeting you, thanking you for coming, checking to see your meal was ok, they really have great customer service & wonderful food. A lot of restaurants in the Toledo area could “learn from you” Can’t wait to come back.

We had take out and was not good at all. $75 and the fajitas and carne asada did not come with shells or the guacamole garnish and the meat was so dry and bland. Sancho was burnt on top and half way assembled. The rice had shriveled up nasty peas and was not edible . Paid $6 for (maybe) a 3oz container of guacamole that had so much onion which is all I could taste. Very disappointed and will not be returning.

We love the Perrysburg location so we couldn’t be more excited to welcome Carlos to Genoa. Food is phenomenal. The pork carnitas street tacos and chimichangas are a favorite of our family. The service cannot be beat. They take such good care of you! The food arrives very quickly, as well.
