Every bagel comes with a small guilt trip right before a card gets swiped: “10% gratuity is already included in the price”.

Never had a bad order here. The quality of their ingredients is really noticeable. My only issue is the door in the Brookline location is tricky to open with a stroller or if you were a wheelchair user.

We found this amazing deli while staying in Brookline for my daughter’s graduation from BU. The customer service was excellent on both visits. We sat outside and enjoyed our brunch watching lots of cute dogs walk by. Our bagels, sandwiches, coffee, and pastries were all delicious! They also have coolers with soups, cold salads (chicken, potato, pickled herring), bread, and other treats to purchase and enjoy at home. The prices were reasonable also. If you are in Brookline, stop by their Beacon St location. You won’t regret it!

If you don’t really know authentic NY deli food, you’ll love this place. Portions too small. Prices too high. And the living wage add on is absurd. You’re a thriving business with locations all around the area. YOU pay your workers a fair wage. Don’t push that on your customer and try to guilt trip us so you can feel generous and “good.”

I came here cause, I’m a big fan oof this establishment the original one in Kendall square! I had the 2 hot dogs with Sauerkraut spicy mustard they toast the buns buttery. (Before the pandemic the hotdog order came with a pickle) I asked did it come with the order? He had to look up at menu then turned and said no, so I got one anyways because They have the Best tasting Pickles really! It was $2.00 bucks. My total bill was plus the 10% fair wage surcharge $0.90 $10.53 all together! Question though should the customer be informed of that ahead of time so I know before I order?! I work in the restaurant business, but to somebody who doesn’t my be taken a back? But my meal was great the pickle still delicious as I remember my bill was reasonable!

Came for the pupusa pop-up event. 2 of the indoor tables were occupied by kids standing/jumping barefoot on the benches to play a game with a worker on the half wall between seating and the kitchen. There was little seating available and the worker’s decision to continue to play in this space resulted in dice falling on my toddler, bare feet stepping into my back, and kids putting their hands on our table to hop on and off the bench (the worker’s fault, of course, for letting the game to happen where it did). Sure, we could have moved and searched for a different table to squeeze into, but we would also expect a more welcoming and sanitary dining experience. As for the pupusas, we all had an upset stomach when we got home. Very disappointing and, needless to say, won’t be back.

Incredible! Ordered delivery from here and the LEO with capers and caramelized onions added were perfect! Truly the best breakfast I’ve had in a very, very long time. I wish I lived closer so I could eat here more often.

The food is OK. Nothing special. But the problem is their prices. I got a pastrami sandwich here last month because Michael’s Deli was closed…this place charges $23 for a pastrami sandwich. That’s outrageous. I will NEVER come here again. They literally charge twice as much as Michael’s Deli. Unacceptable. Just pitiful. Pass. There’s significantly better places in the area for everything this place sells. My guess, and this is just a hunch, this place will be out of business by this time next year.

You can’t really go wrong here. So far I’ve had their baked goods, iced tea, bagel sandwiches, and frozen blintzes and everything is fantastic and fresh. Lots of cute merch and a cheerful, welcome vibe. A lot of their food has meat, but there’s at least a few vegetarian options and they’re good!
