First time visiting! I really enjoyed the atmosphere, and I chose to go on a Thursday, since I prefer trying new places during the week. The atmosphere was calm, less busy, and the service often shines at these times. Though I initially hesitated due to some reviews, I gave it a chance—and I’m so glad I did! The service was excellent and friendly, and since there weren’t many customers, my companion and I were seated quickly. The food was fantastic—beautiful presentation and great flavor. I had the yuca mofongo with chicken, and my mom had the stuffed salmon—both delicious. The menu had great variety, and we even enjoyed happy hour. The drinks—like coconut mojito, strawberry mojito, and passion fruit margarita, moscow mule passion fruit—were excellent, well-prepared, and you could feel the alcohol. The overall experience was amazing, with Latin/Hispanic music at a nice volume. I know on weekends it gets louder, nightclub-style, so if you prefer quieter settings, go early. Also, our waitress was fantastic. It was my mom’s birthday, and after mentioning it once, at the end of the meal, the staff surprised us with a drum celebration. It was such a great touch! If you’re thinking about trying it, I highly recommend visiting during the week—you won’t regret it!

My first experience here was truly unforgettable. From the incredible ambiance to the outstanding service, everything exceeded my expectations. My husband and I enjoyed Happy Hour at the bar, where the bartender, Tay, welcomed us with exceptional hospitality. The ambiance, DJ and delicious food made it the perfect restaurant/lounge for our anniversary dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant and lounge to anyone seeking a fantastic time!

Made reservations from the car and confirmed 5:45 pm Valentine’s day. Get there and everyone else has the same time. Wait for 20 minutes to speak to the man at the podium. Was told $85 per plate which includes appetizer, entree and dessert. I couldn’t have chicken cordon bleu so they suggested grilled chicken. Great! We get seated and drinks come out quick. Appetizers go to the next table. We get the food back before they dig in. Kind of embarrassing. From there it took almost 45 minutes to get our entree and when it did come, it was the chicken cordon bleu. The waitress was upset and sent it back. The grilled chicken comes with the mashed potatoes and it was mediocre at best. Husband’s meal was good. Get the check and $85 pretty plate turned into $247 if pd by card and $236 if paid with cash. I thought there was to be no surcharges in CT. Tip is already figured in starting at %15. What if the service was terrible all together? Are we still mandated to give a tip? I hand the waitress the cash $240.00 and told her I wanted the change. We don’t see her for minutes so I go up to the Mgr. He calls her and she brings $2.00 (which i didn’t notice until I got to the car) instead of $4.00. All in all this was not a good experience. We are used to fine cuisine and the price tag that comes with it but this isn’t Ruth Chris. While we get that the place was very busy being Valentine’s day, they also knew it and should’ve handled the anticipated crowd better. Never going back except to get my $2.00 our waitress forgot to give me. BTW… we weren’t the only patrons that felt like this. The next table started that they wouldn’t be back as they didn’t have a good experience either.

Party of 9. Reservation was mixed up, music was blasting so loud we couldn’t even talk. Waited almost 2 hours for food and the place wasn’t busy. The stuffed red snapper was mushy, smothered in a nasty sauce, and inedible. Mofongo was bland and dry with the same horrible sauce. Waitress was slow and not attentive.
Chef was professional, but the manager was rude—refused to remove the bad dish until we argued, then only took half off. On top of that, they add automatic gratuity and even charge $20 extra for using a credit card.
Worst dining experience. Will not return.

The atmosphere is pretty. We were sat and waited 10 minutes to be approached by our server – even though there was only two other tables filled in the entire restaurant. The food we ordered was terrible – the ninja sushi roll consisted of mushy/watery rice and no flavor at all. It was literally the worst sushi I’ve ever had. The guacamole also lacked any flavor. The mayoketchup was truly just mayonnaise and ketchup mixed together…. No flavor at all. They also charged $8 for a sprite and refill (my son ordered a sprite and the waiter never mentioned that there were no free refills available). An automatic gratuity is added to all checks (we were a party of 2 and our bill was $56). I’ve been here before and can say that their bar drinks are good – I would never attempt again for a meal. I also noticed that the other table was complaining to the manager about their poor experience…. Unfortunately I could not recommend this place to anyone.

So my husband and I went to this restaurant the day after Valentine’s Day. Our reservation was for 8 o’clock and as soon as we walked in, it was like a club party, which was a little overwhelming and unexpected especially at 8 o’clock. We thought that was a little early for someone who wants to come in for a romantic dinner reservation. Overall, the food was good not great. We waited over an hour just for the appetizer. The waitress did not even offer us water, small plates, and they did not have any extra utensils. When we walked in and was seated, the tablecloth was actually dirty and they did not even replace it. The restaurant was not packed for them to not have time to clean the table correctly or have extra silverware. Bus boys who were helping delivering the food were completely lost. As soon as we sat down they almost mistakenly gave us someone else’s appetizer. At one point when we were trying to get the check to pay, we saw our waitress, just sitting down at another table with a customer having us wait for her to have her conversation. We would have ordered more but did not want to spend another hour on waiting. This restaurant and location has potential but have a lot of small kinks to figure out.

DE-LIC-IOUS. Like absolutely incredible food. The drinks were great. I had the best seafood paella ever. I loved every time they came out to sing Feliz Cumpleano because it almost gave me epilepsy. WILL be back. My waitress was super cute and sweet and made it an even better experience.

Wonderful place! Music was very loud and a lot of birthday shout outs which me and my family didn’t appreciate since we had to keep shouting. Besides that our Waitress named Anybel was wonderful super generous and nice, will come back! Food could’ve been better, but not our servers fault at all. Recommend this place 10/10!
