Mamacitas Food Truck opened June 2019. We are located at 1504 West Franklin Blvd Gastonia, NC 28052. You can find us Monday through Saturday 11am – 7pm. Since 2019 we have become Gastonia’s favorite Mexican Food Truck. We offer $5.99 specials every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. So far all our reviews show how much our customers love our food. We provide quality food with a fresh attitude and also speedy service. We can’t wait to serve you soon!

I’ve seen this food truck the past few months when I leave a business I service. So today I said it smells so good I have to stop. I’m so glad I did. I had the Mamacita Bowl. Absolutely crushed it. I went through it like a homeless man at a buffet.
Take a minute and treat yourself to some outstanding food. Can’t wait to try the other menu items. Wish I lived closer!! I was going to take a picture of my bowl but…..Update 10/29 took a picture this time and the Tacos and Tamales were absolutely on point! God I LOVE this place.

A great place for Mexican food lovers. Very authentic and tastes amazing. The staff are very courteous and even help you to recommend best options. On Tuesday’s they have special offer so you can enjoy three Tacos with a drink for $5.99. Overall I think this food truck is better than the Mexican chain restaurants around. Highly recommended.

Alright service, sketchy atmosphere, TERRIBLE TACOS. Can only order in 3’s. Looks like they make 1 taco and then lay out more tortillas and spread the meat from your 1 taco to make the other 2. Tried the pollo and pastor, pastor was better but still seemed like a waste of money, you would be better off going to Taco Bell.

4/6/23 update – today I had the taco Thursday special with chorizo tacos. Been here multiple times and the food quality is on point consistently. Took a closeup photo of these beauties. I was extra hungry so ordered 6 if them!

At the time of this review, the Tuesday special includes three small tacos and a drink for $5.99. I actually bought 2 Tuesday specials so I ate 3 steak tacos and 3 pork tacos. Just from my photos you can see these tacos are legit. Even the tortillas used for these tacos taste way better than the typical competitors. The ladies also do right by properly heating up the tortilla and seasoning it up correctly before loading it up with the delicious fillings. The medium and hot salsas paired up well with these tacos. If you haven’t had the pleasure, then you need to treat yourself to Mamacita’s food truck. I will definitely be back here again!

First time going to the Mamacitas food truck and I’m glad we were able to find this. I order the barbacoa tacos and my wife order some tamales. The tacos were delicious with lots of flavor and pack with meat. The tamales also were awesome. I will post pictures on my next visit since we will be returning.

The chicken bowl was good however it’s ground chicken instead of chicken breast. The tamales were terrible we could not even eat them they were wrapped in a banana leaf swimming in grease the tamale was mush we couldn’t even pick it up!! And the taste was awful!! I absolutely do not recommend wasting your money I bought two and couldn’t eat either one total waste of money.
