My family and I have been to Mamacita twice and unfortunately, don’t really have any good to say. The first time was uneventful but just not the greatest. The second time, where we tried to give them a second chance, was significantly worse.
We arrived to the restaurant and there was only one table of people in the entire place. Despite that, we were not greeted at the front counter for quite a while.
Once seated, we were given the typical complementary chips and salsa. The salsa was fine, the chips were cold and probably some of the thickest and worst tortilla chips I’ve ever had. I ordered an unsweetened ice tea and a water to drink, I was never given the water despite asking a few times.
For an appetizer, we ordered their nachos. The nachos came out lukewarm, soggy, and EXTREMELY greasy. You could tell that the meat had never had the grease removed from it. The nachos had half chicken and half beef. The beef on the nachos was very flavorless and the chicken was only slightly better. Between the 3 of us, we did not even finish half of the nachos because of how badly it tasted and how greasy it was.
My son got the kid’s cheese pizza and fries, my wife got the Quesabirria tacos, and I got the Baja Fish tacos. My Son’s pizza was literally a frozen personal pizza from Walmart. On top of that, they couldn’t even bother to fully melt the cheese on the pizza. The fries were unseasoned and some of the worst fries I have ever had. My 5 year old son did not take more than 1 bite of his pizza, a kid who can put away over half of a Domino’s pizza.
The Quesabirria tacos were so greasy that they left my wife feeling horrible for the rest of the day, and she only ate half of 1. The Baja Shrimp tacos were absolutely awful. For some reason, each taco has 1 singular giant slice of radish on it so that you cannot even get radish in every bite. The fish itself has, quite literally, zero flavor. I even took off the fish to try it and see, as well as had my wife try it. The only saving grace was the salsa that came with it, which was phenomenal.
None of us even came close to finishing any of our food and we actually left and went somewhere near by to eat better and cheaper food. I cannot recommend Mamacita in any respect, unfortunately. I also almost forgot to mention, they have a robot that assists the server with bringing out food but the robot plays extremely loud music that actually mutes the other music in the restaurant.

We had lunch here recently and because we were early, we were seated immediately and had the place to ourselves. It was our second time here, and we had a great lunch. Our server was friendly and efficient. Our food was excellent, I had a beef chimichanga, and we started with complimentary chips and salsa. We ordered queso and guacamole to accompany the chips. The meal presentation was great and portions were a good size. The interior decor is pretty, with greenery and flowers on the ceiling and walls. Cute restaurant and worth a stop, if you are craving Mexican!

The food was very good except I didn’t care for the flan. The only other issue I had was that I ordered a blue margarita and they forgot the salt rim. Not a huge deal. The food comes out on a robot playing music, which is very surprising. Would recommend and go back.

Mamacita, Morrisville was an excellent choice to celebrate our son’s 15rh birthday! He loves birria tacos and selected their pizza quesa birriia, which he said was outstanding! The staff were so attentive and kind. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Everything we ordered was delicious. I am sad that we love an hour away, but would highly recommend this amazing spot if in Morrisville!

Mamacita is a great place to come, and very family friendly. There is lots of good options on the menu, and there are also vegetarian choices. They also serve cocktails and drinks. The service it pretty good and the food came out in ten minutes or so. There is also an adorable little robot who brings out your food and talks. Prices are nice as well. Overall, this is definitely a place worth coming.
