We’ve gone quite a bit, they have really good food my favorite is the eggs Benedict. Only one time was I super disappointed with my food, but to be fair they only had one cook working and it was a Sunday afternoon so understandable
Update: still great food and service. Got the Belgian waffle with strawberries on top, delicious. Will be getting again. The western skillet is amazing, it comes with hollandaise sauce on top which completes the dish

Wife and I ate breakfast here while traveling through on a motorbike trip. It’s a “seat yourself” place although there’s no sign that tells you this nor did any of the kids looking at us from the back of the bar tell us while we stood there looking around. My wife asked loudly if we should seat ourselves and they said “yes”. We had half order of biscuits and gravy, potatoes, two eggs, couple pancakes and a waffle with strawberries. Food was great. Coffee was typical diner coffee. Service was excellent. 10/10 recommend just be sure to walk in and seat yourself!

We are on vacation and my husband saw the reviews for this place so we tried it. Oh. My. Gosh. They knocked it out of the park with our food. I had the eggnog stuffy and I will never get over how good it is. It’s that food that when you go back home, you miss it and dream of it. The employees are so kind and welcoming, and gave us great suggestions of things to do while in this town. Belinda was a gem!

When I am within an hour of this diner my mouth starts to water. Anything I eat here tastes homemade. The service is special. Yesterday I had the best ham and bean soup I have ever had. Today we brought home a quart of stuffed green pepper soup. Also very delicious. Prices are very reasonable and portions are such that you will take home your next meal.

First time here and breakfast was excellent. And it was only 15 bucks for alot of food. Look at that sausage pattie in the photos I left. Huge!!.

Clean restaurant. Friendly ladies working the floor. Everyone needs to come down and support this restaurant. I’m not a breakfast person but I been up at 4am. Shoveling snow that fell over night and was hungry so I picked this spot out of all the spots in Laporte Indiana. (Awsome choice).

A solid breakfast diner. The veggie skillet was amazing!!!!!!! The stuffed French toast was really good, the filling was delicious, but the berries were too sweet for my taste. The coffee was okay. Friendly quick service, reasonable prices, slow kitchen.

I ordered the honey chicken sandwich. Great presentation but that is where it stops. The chicken breast was really small covered about half the bun. The first bite of this sandwich was fine. The next bite was a piece of chewy rubbery mess just like the remainder of the chicken. I didn’t eat the rest of the sandwich. I paid for my food which was a waste of my money. The lady asked me how was the sandwich. I was honest and told her that it was just a mess. I told her the chicken was chewy. She just stood there with a blank look on her face. . So I know which place I won’t return to when I come work in the area again.

I never leave reviews, but this really upset me. My dad owned a restaurant for 30 years I grew up in on I have been a server and there is no excuse for the service that we got today. We got sat, got drinks she took our order we sat there an hour watching other people who got sat way after us get there food she walked past us not even acknowledgeing us didn’t come up to us one time to say hey your food is taking a little longer didn’t even get eye contact, it was like we weren’t even there. When we finally got her attention she tried to lie her way out of it I asked if I could just have the check for our drinks and turns out she didn’t even have a ticket made for us… So did she ever even write it down or turn one into the cooks? Horrible service.

This is such a great place for a cozy atmosphere and great home style meal. Staff were so welcoming and friendly. Service was great and food was served quickly. My breakfast was absolutely savory & delicious and I ate every single bite. Great job staff!
