Mama Thai Kitchen was an exceptionally pleasant experience. The yellow chicken curry was the best I’ve had in the East Valley. The restaurant itself is simple but quaint. We sat on the outdoor patio at sunset, with the fire features burning and soft jazz music playing, the ambience was great. The staff was very friendly and service was excellent. We will be back.

I drive 40 minutes in traffic just to come here. This is the most authentic Thai food I have found since I moved to AZ and I AM HOOKED. Si is such a sweet lady, always warm and a genuine smile. I am vegan and get the same thing for the most part. So if you need a recommendation I get the Drunken Noodle with tofu and a order of Fresh Rolls with tofu and an extra peanut sauce. I hope is that they are able to open another location in Downtown Phoenix or Scottsdale. They would have such success because their food is better than a lot of places that are busy all the time.

I was visiting the area with my cousin who loves this place. We stopped in for dinner. They must have been understaffed that night as the service was slow. One person served and took orders for walk ins and diners, and packaged to go orders. BUT, the food was absolutely, DELICIOUS!!! Had we had enough time we would have visited again. We order a large Tom Yum soup with tofu, pad thai with shrimp, drunken noodles with shrimp, garlic and pepper dinner with sole, and rice noodle soup with sole. All of our meals were full of flavor. I do think they could have given more than 6 shrimp in the dinner portions. We spent $96 for the 4 meals plus the large soup. Other than that, no issues. The bathrooms were also pretty clean.

We tried this place one night for dinner on night. We were greeted as soon as we entered. They sat at a table right away and got our drink order. When we returned with the drinks they got our appetizer order which was Larb Salad, very tasty full of flavor. I ordered the Spicy Basil with chicken and my partner ordered the Panang Curry with chicken. My Spicy Basil was delicious and very fresh. My partner’s Panang Curry was very good, so smooth and delicious, one of the top Panangs we have tried all over the country. We then save room for dessert which was Mango Sticky Rice. That was just so perfect. They service here is fantastic. We had everyone checking on us to make sure if we needed anything and kept the drinks filled. The restaurant was very clean as were the restrooms. This place was a wonderful addition to the fantastic Thai restaurants they have here in the Phoenix area and cannot wait to return.

This restaurant is a great place for Thai styled food. The food was very good and prices are reasonable. The wait staff is very pleasant and attentive. The sweet and sour chicken with sticky rice was full of flavor. The chicken was fried perfectly. Teriyaki salmon is also a great choice. Salmon was cooked perfectly as well. Still flaky, good flavor, and the Teriyaki compimented the meal. The spiciness of each dish can be customized from 1 to 5. Since it was my first time here, I went with a 3, which i didn’t consider spicy. Next visit, I’ll do a 4.

We tried this place awhile back for my birthday. It was so good, we’ve now been back three more times. The pad Thai is delicious…it’s got the perfect amount of sauce and the scallions on top were a great little touch. The shrimp fried rice, which I forgot to snap a picture of, was wonderful too. The service is impeccable. We’ll definitely be back.

Really good Thai food. All of it. Service is always fantastic. Quiet, close and clean. Big or small parties, they can accommodate. From what I can tell, a lot of people are getting takeout from there.
