Our 1st location opened in Houston in 1996. We are a family owned business that takes pride in serving authentic Mexican food with recipes originating from our native Puebla, Mexico. The founder and chef of La Guadalupana, Señor Diaz, decided to branch out and bring his original flavors to Pasadena, Tx. La Guadalupana #2 is honored to serve you with all day breakfast, lunch, dinner options and fresh pastries. He has been featured on Texas Monthly and Chron. for our enchiladas, tres leches, breakfast tacos and chilaquiles. Come enjoy our hot freshly brewed signature coffee and pan dulce or our popular almond croissants. Whether its take out or dining in, we are here to serve you.

It was my first visit, my waitress was very kind. I wanted to try something new so I ordered the champurrada, it was nice and hot, not too sweet with cinnamon, nice smooth thick consistentancy with tasty chocolate notes. I ordered the chilaquiles rojos with 2 eggs over medium. The sauce had a very nice flavor and the eggs were cooked to perfection. Service was wonderful, the manager or owner walked me to look at the bakery items and let me taste the 3 leches cake. I can say that I fell in love with it! One of the best 3 leches I’ve had. I will definitely return to try additional menu and bakery items

Nice spot on the east side. Service was super friendly, all servers seemed to help each other out and were very kind. Food was pretty good. Kids loved the breakfast tacos. Flautas were nicely seasoned and crunchy. Chiliquiles were yummy. Seafood soup was just ok. Food was a little slow to come out, but gave us time to check out the pastry case. Grabbed a couple muffins and cookies all good. Cafe de olla was not as expected, just tasted like regular black coffee. Overall a nice place to grab breakfast or lunch if you are in the area.

I have been ordering cakes from La Guadalupana (Julie) for my boys birthdays for the past 3 years. The flavor and decoration of the cake never disappoint. Julie goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy. Their tres leches and marble cake with fruit are delicious. I have always been satisfied with customer service and will continue doing business here.

I walk in and got struck with a waft of freshly baked bread. Really good food, I had the menudo which I was given the option to have hominy added to it. Its not very spicy, but the offer chile de árbol. I wouldn’t order it a second time. However, I tried the Miklo taco and that was very good. Overall, I paid $53 dollars for a family of 3.

Delicious place to start the day! The coffee is their own home blend, and they have large mugs so you don’t have to ask for a thousand refills. The fruit selection for the cocktail was strawberry kiwi and banana (no cheap melon here!) I ordered the omelette especial and pancakes and they were both very tasty. Got tortillas with the omelette and the Salsa they bring with the food is very good and very spicy! My husband ordered the menudo, he said it was just okay but easily fixed with salsa and chile de arbol (available on request)

Grew up in Mexico and I can say these are the best chilaquiles I’ve had in the US. Staff is so nice and attentive. The chef was constantly checking on guest and brought us our food with a big smile. The tres leches cake is absolutely delicious. Will be one of our to go spots from now on!

I went in here for the first time today, after a coworker took us croissants from here and I loved them , I went in today to buy some and I was met by the most amazing staff , They guy with a chef hat was so kind he gave me a free pastry and even offered me a coffee on the house , I politely declined due to some medical issues now but he gave me a free pastry … I did not get a picture of the croissants (they were immediately devoured by my coworkers) but I got a picture of the free pastry with 2bites in it smelled so good I could not resist they offer a traditional Hispanic breakfast and dine in as well , I hope to see more business come across them the staff seems so happy and glad to be there

I came here when I was sick to eat some soup and it turned out to be a great decision. The price is affordable and their was plenty of parking when I arrived. What sets this place apart is the staff and hospitality, the owner happened to be there and was a delight to be around, he had a conversation with me and made me feel a little better, for a second I forgot that I was sick. If you ever want to visit a bakery that also serves Mexican food, this is the place for you.

The food is horrible. The size of the sopes are too small, for $4.99 is too expensive. After you place your order, be prepared to wait at least 1 hour. The prices of the menu are off. They charge you more than the prices printed in the menu. In the end, when you leave that place, your clothes will smell like grease.
DON’T WASTED YOUR, MONEY, AND YOUR TIME.
