Authentic New York Italian pizza and the staff was the cherry on top to this genuine restaurant. Even though it got busier as we placed our order, we were still taken great care of and it was worth the little bit of an extra wait.
It was our first time in and it felt like we’ve been there so many times before with how cozy and welcoming the atmosphere is.
If you’ve hesitated to try it simply because it’s a hole in the wall/ hidden gem, or don’t know it exists then take this as your sign to go.
I’m not sure if I enjoyed the pizza( great price for XL!), mozzarella sticks (best I’ve had and Im super picky about them), or the NY cheesecake more. I can keep going if I haven’t convinced you enough to go try them, yet…
I’d post pics of our food however it was gone before I even gave it a thought.

Make sure you don’t forget to tip your driver even if there’s a miscommunication or you’ll be charged multiple times for a delivery fee AND random uncharges, which is not only ridiculous, even for one time accidentally not being able to tip, but also borderline stealing! That’s how you lose business! And if you pay said fee, even multiple times and order from them again, your food will be treated like trash. See picture for reference, that’s after being charged THREE times for a delivery fee that was paid off already and ordering from them anyways deciding to give them benefit of the doubt.

Nice little GEM! I will return…. I did not have the pizza …. Yet. The meatballs and chicken cutlets parm sandwhich were top notch. Delicate bread with proper crisp. Meatball and Chicken feel homemade. I was sad there was no pizza near closing time, but it’s a quality thing. Making too many pizza during dinner just to have a slice or two near closing, makes for less quality pizza near closing time. The guy who made my food was from Brooklyn. ( Looks and sounds like it too, so that checks out.) They focus on quality and don’t seem to compromise with ingredient. Start with good ingredients and you’ll probably end with a better product. We ordered the pizza online. We asked for it ASAP. The time we ordered it was about 6:35pm. The time we received in the email to pick up was 7:11-7:15pm. We only live 10 mins away. When I opened the pizza boxes they were cold like they were sitting there for more than half an hour. They were skimpy on the cheese. Both pizzas. The wings were barely warm. It doesn’t matter if they were ordered online or over the phone. The pizza was cold and did not look fresh. For $50.00 + order, I expected better.

This place is owned by a mom and Pop from New York. They use San Marzano tomatoes and if you know you know, I cannot say enough good things about the quality of this place the prices I haven’t seen in seven years. It is your classic New York vibe pizzeria. People sometimes don’t understand trying to find a pizza place like this in Florida. Somebody should try to get Courtney here because I would love to see him review this establishment. I promise you will not be disappointed. It is easily worth at least an hour and a half drive. That’s how good it is. You can’t get pizza like this in Florida. They also have sandwiches desserts sit down and get a 2 L soda for four dollars with 5 cups of ice and your whole family can actually drink without paying four hours each for soda.

The pizza, grinders and salad is amazing. Even the homemade deserts. My husband had a dinner and he said everything reminded him of Enzo’s on Arthur Ave in the Bronx NewYork. We are from Connecticut so we are really big on authentic Italian food. I know the owners of mama Rose’s are Italians so they got it. Delicious food and pizza. Will always go back. Love this place!!

This is easily the best NY pizza you’re going to get in Pinellas county. My gf is from Long Island and it’s tough finding good pizza, this is our new fav. There is a couple that owns and operates the joint, both from NY, and they have a killer deal on a 16” pizza rice balls are super good too def try those lol.
