Place is out of the way and my husband took me there for Valentine’s Day. Our waitress was very kind and the service was good. My husband got the wedding soup that he said was really good. I ordered the calamari, it was a little rubbery, so it wasn’t bad. My husband loved the sauce that went with it. For our meal, my husband got the Italian sampler, and he loved it and said it tasted good. I got the ricotta lasagna, the noodles were homemade and the meat sauce was really good. I felt if I am having ricotta lasagna that there would be some ricotta in it. It was mostly noodles and a little ricotta.

This was the first time visiting the restaurant. We had to drive over 30 minutes to get here and it is well worth the drive. I recommend getting reservations. They had a great selection of craft beers and cocktails. The quality of the food is outstanding. Portions a rather large and everything is homemade. You must try their desserts as well. We had the chicken parmesan and also the lasagna. We definitely will be back and we do recommend this authentic Italian restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

We went on feb 15 . The place was dead. Absolutely noone inside the dinning room, probably because of the snow but when we said we didn’t have a reservation we were seated by the wall in the back out of the way. We should of gotten up and left but decided to stick it out. I only came because I found they had cannolis online. That is very important to the story.
We both got a soda.
He ordered mushrooms… just don’t, don’t do it. They were slice mushrooms and peppers covered in cheese and sauce. Literally what you would use in a pasta sauce and barely cooked.
Next we both ordered the Italian platters. The waitress brought out 3 small slices of Italian bread , that was fine. The food was horrible except the cheese stuffed shell. We both liked those. $22/ plate. A good idea would be to take the mushroom mix and add it to the sauce , cut up the store bought Italian sausage and mix that into the sauce and smoother the pasta In that instead of this monstrosity.
Then for the finale the part I had been anticipating. I ordered 2 canollis to go.
With chocolate chips…… THESE WERE NOT CANOLLIS!!! I took a bite in the parking lot. I swear they took cottage cheese, creamed it and stuffed it into a waffle. They were so bitter I gagged. I should of walked back inside as they were 5.50 each and absolutely horrid.

Our bill was $71 plus tip.
This was NOT worth it.
This is not a Italian restaurant. This would make any italian granny cringe . The only nice thing about this place was that it was the decor.

This was our 1st time having dinner here. They were fairly busy for a Thursday and just like many other restaurants recently, the were short staffed. Our service was great for only having 1 waitress. I believe either the owner or manager was helping to serve the waitress. Our food was great, however the portions for the price were slightly less than expected but plenty to be satisfying. We ordered salads with our dinner and I always order blue cheese, they have the best tasting dressing I have had. The atmosphere was pleasant and everyone was very friendly. We will definitely be returning to try something new soon. Highly recommend if you are looking for a great tasting Italian meal.

Hidden gem in Butler for a solid Italian meal. Would recommend reservations on evening and weekends. The stuffed meatball with spaghetti is great. Their blue cheese dressing is homemade and very tasty for your salad. They were out of a few dishes and wines the day we went.

A great restaurant! Hubby had the giant stuffed meatball and I had a hoagie for lunch. Most items are big plates. Service was great and the food was fresh and delicious. We will definitely be back!

Prices are high considering the quality of the food! On our first visit, the food was better. Not sure what changed in a couple of months. They sat us right near a noisy birthday party, which made it hard to even have a conversation. Also, they gave my husband the wrong meal & didn’t offer to take it back. Then we noticed a 3% charge for using a credit card on our bill! Won’t be going there again!

I only ate at this restaurant once with my husband because it is an hour away from us & both of our dishes were delicious. I am commenting on here about their sauce that they sell through Whole Foods. It is THE BEST sauce I have ever tasted. All flavors perfectly balanced AND they use REAL olive oil, not nasty canola oil like many other brands have switched too. This sauce tastes so fresh like you made it homemade. Sometimes I make a Bolognese sauce with it. Fabulous! Thank you Mama Rosa for your dedication to great food! My family appreciates you! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

A decent spot to grab a bite to eat and catch the game. I was in town and gave them a try and got the pizza. They seem to be a little understaffed on this particular night, but it wasn’t bad.

First time I had this food it was catered for a local wedding and I was very impressed. I wanted to try it again when I got back into the area…Tonight was that night.

We came in for dinner after some family time at Cypher’s Christmas Tree Farm and we were not disappointed. Great Italian food! Family-owned! We look forward to coming back again:)
