Stopped in here today after going to the doctor. The prices for lunch are very good and the bread with the oil and red pepper was the perfect combination. The girl we had for our waitress was so sweet and seemed happy to be there. It has a very warm feeling when you come in. I had the chicken and broccoli pasta! The pasta was by far one of the most flavorful and best pastas I have ever had! I will be back!

We had exceptional service we locked in the door. Sat right down and started enjoying the awesome bread and olive mix. Smiles were abundant and they were happy to see us. We got there around 5:30 which we were told was a good time before the big crowd came.

Really good Italian good. I had an amazing lasagna. The bread is amazing. The Tuscan salad was out of this world. I was surprised they’d run out of Sangria but it gave me a chance to stick with my usual drink. A must visit kind of place. Kudos, super kudos to the waitress Brie. Was was absolutely amazing. When I come back I will only go to one of her tables.

Came in for a light lunch and were very pleased. We had been test riding Electric Bike’s at Charlotte Cycles right behind Mama Ricotta’s. Mary at Charlotte Cycles recommended. So glad she did. Our server, Shanee, was excellent. We split a Mama’s Chicken Salad ( huge portions) for the 2 of us. Came with a Mama’ salad on the plate and bought an extra Mama’s salad. Ice teas to drink that were delicious. Had been quite a while since we had visited here. Comfortable seating. Nice and cool inside on this hot summer day. Unfortunately out of sight, out of mind restaurant. Glad we came in. We’ll definitely be back. I’d recommend.

This has become my new lunch spot with affordable offerings, great food, and amazing service. I’ve been getting the chicken, broccoli, and penne pasta but substituting the chicken with shrimp. Not to mention the endless fresh Parmesan cheese until you say stop! Highly recommend for a nice lunch break meal. The food came fast so we had plenty of time to dine. However, they even to ensure to bring the check as soon as the food comes, so if you have to hurry off then your not waiting on them.

I recently visited Mama Ricotta’s for the first time and overall, my experience was average. While the food was decent, it didn’t quite meet my expectations for all the hype I had heard for this restaurant. The pasta was cooked well, but the sauce lacked depth of flavor and the chicken was dry and unseasoned. Additionally, while my pasta and my mother’s pasta had little flavor and was quite bland, other members of my party had well seasoned pasta dishes that was far better by comparison, bringing up questions regarding consistency of dish preparation in the kitchen.

I had a wonderful time celebrating a friend’s birthday here. I’ve been here a few times and have enjoyed each visit. Service was very efficient and smooth. The team worked well together in order to provide phenomenal service. I had the chopped salad and the salmon entrée. The salad was fresh and amazing. There were many flavors in every bite. The salmon entrée was served with asparagus and mashed potatoes. All of the food was very fresh and had great flavor. I even had enough for a second meal the next day. I can’t wait for my next visit.
