Everything was great and the owners were very professional. We definitely enjoyed the authentic taste of Caribbean food. You can either dine-in or get it to go. I had the oxtail with rice & peas, cabbage &carrots, and plantains. For dessert, I had Mama P “vanilla cake” with cream cheese/sour cream icing, literally melted in my mouth.

We had oxtails, jerk chicken and chicken curry, and all were delicious. Our son said he loved the vegetables… and he never loves the vegetables. He cleaned his plate, but it was so much food that my husband and I couldn’t finish ours. The cake was good too! Most of all, we enjoyed chatting with the owners. What a fun stop on our Georgia road trip!

I was told great things about the food and was very excited to try. The service was friendly but I was very unhappy with the food. I spent $40 on an oxtail and bbq jerk plate and none of it was edible. The chicken was dry/old. I was not informed the collard greens would have okra in them, they were slimy. And the Mac n cheese had no cheese. Honestly just wanted my money back.

This place is a jewel. Totally unexpected. Authentic soul food Jerk chicken, oxtail, goat, seafood curry are all jam up. Plantains, Jamaican dressing, beans and rice. Pauline and her husband are so hospitable. Caribbean food.

Recently, my family and I had a taste for Jamaican food and we visited Mama P’s. We were a party of 8 and were so excited when they were more than happier to serve us! They prepared our tables and served us quickly and attentively. We sat down, ordered our food, and were treated with the best hospitality I’ve ever received!! We had a variety off the menu-from curry chicken, to oxtails, jerk pork, turkey wings, Mac and cheese, cabbage and carrots and a ton of other delicious food. Everything was superb and we can’t wait to go back for our next visit!
