Had dinner at this Thai restaurant today and really loved the concept each dish represents a signature from different provinces in Thailand. The food was delicious, especially the Thai tea (cha chak), which was perfectly balanced and not too sweet. The staff were friendly and attentive, service was fast, and the restaurant felt clean and cozy just like being in Thailand. Highly recommended! ✨

Food was so good, so fun with friends and forgot to take pictures of food. 7 of us enjoyed all comforts food. We love Chiang Rai noodles soup. Service is the best.

Having recently visited Thailand I can say that Mama Mu’s is like a teleportation machine! The food was excellent and Ohm* was wonderful, his passion for Thai Cuisine really comes through in the flavor and experience.

The food was absolutely delicious! They truly showcase the authentic Thai taste. Even though I had to wait a bit longer for my order, it was completely worth it for such high-quality and well-prepared dishes.
Highly recommend for anyone craving real Thai flavors!”

Mama Mu’s is one of the only places in the area still open around 8:15 PM on a Friday.
They were super understaffed, the one waiter was really holding the whole place together. He was stretched too thin, but the service wasn’t terribly lacking. Poor guy said it was nonstop busy since 5 PM!

Portions were generous, but the food was unfortunately not very good. We ordered the mama mu’s sampler and the boat noodle hot pot. The soup was really lacking flavor and the veggie rolls in the platter weren’t very fresh. I wanted to like it so badly, but I couldn’t finish the food.

They also ran out of ingredients before closing time and had to turn customers away☹️. I hope they have the chance to get more staff!

Foods were good, except the chicken wings was over cooked. Prepared yourself for a least 2 hours meal. They take time to cook like a fine dinning. If you are in hurry for a quick bites. Try something else

Great tasting food like when I was in Thailand for a 2 week vacation. Prices are expected for SF pricing. Starters could be slightly bigger portions especially on the fish cake. Overall great service.

Temperature was a bit on the warm side but maybe a open window in the back or front of the restaurant could resolve this.

Delicious food… truly mind blowing getting exposed to a different subset of flavors in the Thai world!! I’ve been here a handful of times as they were ramping up and have to say I’ve loved all the dishes so far! Complex flavors without being overpowering. Super balanced with great plating and presentation as well!

New spot, but I know they’re gonna blow up soon… go there before it gets so popular… go there when it’s popular too! Haha this is SF we love brick n mortars! And more importantly we love good food

Excellent Thai food, as close to authentic Thai flavors that seems possible outside Thailand. I can think of two Thai restaurants in SF that have that perfect blend of food quality, Thai hospitality, generosity and quirkiness…. And this is one of them. Many others are fine, but sitting in here for a short while and I occasionally feel like I’m literally in Thailand, that beautiful generous simple esthetic combined with damn good food.

The vibe and service is genuine and humble. I’ve visited a few times and learned the sauces are made from scratch, the chef is very picky and doesn’t cut corners. They have many thai dishes, teas and desserts that are rarely found at other Thai restaurants.

$10 Happy Hour meals and generous portions. Despite the authenticity, service is actually extremely quick and efficient, which is not always the case with homestyle thai places. Mee Krob pork is amazing, but other dishes I’ve tried are also fantastic. Many restaurants come and go in this City, hopefully this one lives many prosperous years and remains conscious and dedicated to serving up this level of quality.
