I usually dont do a review. Tonight was a bad experience. We dined from 5:45 to 7:30. Was busy yes and it is Friday. I understand all that. Waitress was great. The wait was long for food. Meatballs were sour, couldn’t eat them. Owner refused to give anything off for them. 2 of your party left, tired of waiting. Then once we could go pay, we had no bill, had to wait on another line to pay and wait for them to figure out what pizza was ours to give us for those that left. She must have been an owner she was a rude women. It took 10 minutes to pay. By then the bad reviews had to be. Oh by the way, the four people behind us got their food after us, they were sat before us. They had two of their party leave also and then got the food to go when they finally got it. Not a good experience. Too bad wont be going back again.

After being away from home for a little over a week, we were searching for a decent meal and I have to say Mama Maria’s met all our expectations of what a great dining experience should be. Friendly accommodating service and some wonderful home style cooked meals.
Hubby had the shrimp parmigiana and I had the Home style lasagna both fabulous. But to top the climax the Garlic Knots are too die for!
Please have no reservation about patronizing these folks.

Another delicious dinner tonight at Mama Maria’s! This restaurant never disappoints. From the friendly staff to the addictive garlic knots and oversized portions it’s no wonder that the place is always full.

Hidden gem in the middle of no where. This isn’t your run of the mill Italian restaurant. The staff makes you feel like you’re at home. They get you started with garlic knots and seasoned balsamic olive oil dip. Ordered their green salad last time I was there you actually get a green salad not just Romanian p in it but spinach spect. Not the lifeless iceberg lettuce that most restaurants serve. Took our mother there for Mother’s Day and none of us could finish our plate. So we had leftovers to take home to enjoy.

I hate writing bad reviews but this experience was overall awful. We waited an hour before we were seated (we had a party of 7) and then it took over an hour for our food to come out after being readily able to order right when we sat down (we had all picked from the menu when we were waiting). The food was nothing spectacular, noting I wouldn’t be able to differentiate from the pasta between my mother’s cooking, and this supposedly authentic Italian restaurant.
The nail in the coffin was as we were closing our check out and the cashier (I’m assuming the owner) asked how our meal was. I had told her it was alright but that we had been here since about 7:15pm (it was now past 10pm). She rebutted was that we got there closer to 7:30 and that they are supposed to close at 8:30pm (as if it was our issue that they were slow as molasses in seating and serving us). There was no apology, no sincerity, and thus, this place does not deserve business.

The food and service were very good. However, I was bothered by the $2.50 charge for each iced tea, especially since they only topped off my existing glass instead of providing a fresh one. I believe this practice is unfair; it’s the little things that make a difference.

Great pizza even though they had ran out of pepperoni. Lady answering the phone was difficult to understand and at the restaurant she got confused about our order, overcharged is then thought we hadn’t paid for a plain slice. The other city there corrected everything.

Chicken rolls are $20 and it’s mostly bread. They used to have the best ones, I don’t care if it’s a foot long it but it barely has any chicken or cheese in it .. so what am I paying for a skinny roll of bread?
