This little stop in Findlay Market caught my attention with a Latino Food Stand offering BBQ as a new menu item. We were here and looking for dinner so game on. There was no wait and the food was up pretty quick.

The BBQ pulled pork was sauced and served on slider rolls. No smoky aroma to enjoy and no bark. The flavor wasn’t bad for a first try.

Cincinnati was a school trip, so we won’t be back anytime soon, but I think I’d stick to the standard fare at this stand and forget the BBQ.

Its ok, taste like its missing something. Chicken needs more flavor, there could be authentic tortilla chips because these 7 store bought chips are not it. I would eat here again though.

I ordered a steak bowl with rice tomato’s corn onion and cilantro. It was delicious! Everything was fresh. A little overpriced but well worth it. I would definitely recommend.

I need to be honest , this portion and size should not cost over $9, even considering today’s inflation. I understand businesses need to adjust, but this kind of pricing feels unreasonable and damages the reputation of Findlay Market and, by extension, Cincinnati itself. I even asked three times if it was really $9, and the answer was still yes.
In a true free market, competition keeps prices fair. Right now, this feels like a monopoly, and I believe Findlay Market would benefit greatly from another burrito shop to bring balance and give customers better value. I don’t mean to sound harsh, but this is the honest fact.

Extremely Delicious! Quick service, fresh products, very tasty, affordable.
I had the chicken bowl, with black beans, white rice, corn, cheese, and the most delicious spicy green sauce. It tasted like a real mexican street food.
And a “mango jarrito” for a drink was the best.
Highly recommended

Mama Hizo at Findlay Market! Located in the middle section inside, this spot has become my go-to most days, especially on weekends, for an absolutely spectacular breakfast. Their menu is packed with everything from burgers and hot dogs to chicken tender sandwiches, burritos, tacos, nachos, taco salads, and more. Don’t miss out on their chips with pico de gallo or queso, or the incredible stuffed corn muffins with salsa queso. I love this place—great food, great prices. Make it your favorite!

I wanted to like it but was disappointed. I had the steak tacos and they were not great, nor authentic street tacos. The meat was dry and tasted like roast, and the corn tortillas were just awful. They disintegrated into a million pieces when I tried to pick it up. The service was a bit rude too.

Didn’t eat here but wanted to point out that they do offer veggie tacos and burritos in case you’re vegan and craving some Mexican food — you can omit cheese etc.

Good food. I ordered a torta and a burrito with cheese came out. Not what I wanted or what a torta is.
