Best pizza I have had in St. Tammany Parish by far. We dined in and ordered the Artichoke pizza. Normally, I expected pizza with these kinds of toppings to have a softer crust at the center. This pizza had an excellent crust through and through and the toppings were on point. This was our first time visiting there and we will definitely be back again to try their other pizzas.

Went to Mama’s D’s tonight. I ordered the Mama D’s special calzone. It was great and the price was very good. Their ranch dressing is homemade and tastes amazing. Goes great with the calzone. I would recommend this place anytime.

Ms. D is ALWAYS back there in the kitchen! For nearly five years, my father and i have eaten here and it is always the highest of quality. She always checks on each table, making sure everything is up to standards. She’s such a sweet lady and ALWAYS has a smile on her face. Service here is so fantastic and quick, and it never takes long to see a full dining room. As a native Louisianian, i cannot stress enough that tourists MUST eat here for authentic and homemade food…and if you’re already living here and never tried it, you’ll never forgive yourself after the first slice. God bless her restaurant, and God bless Ms. D and her family.

Last night we had the Gourmet veggie pizza with garlic sauce and pepperoni. The crispy crust and pepperoni, light homemade dough throughout was like no other I’ve ever had worldwide! My wife and I ate all but 2 slices of a large 14″ with no heavy, overfull feeling. Want to cut carbs, then eat here! And the owner & staff are most friendly

I have been going to Mama Ds for over 15 years. They always use the same ingredients. Their pizza and calzones are absolutely amazing and priced right. Anything you order will be delicious. The atmosphere is old town part of your family type people. Love yall Mama Ds.

My friend called ahead to order the pizza and get it in a timely manner, a 20 minute ride for what they said would take 30. He even waited in the car for a bit in case it wasn’t done. He had to wait another 30 minutes because they hadn’t even started our order. I guess just skip the call, pulling up for an order to go will get you out faster. Great food, but really disappointing experience.

Tried Mama D’s tonight after hearing so many great recommendations from friends and family, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The pizza and appetizers were delicious, all homemade and full of flavor. The service was excellent, and the cozy, old-school atmosphere made the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back regularly—highly recommend!
