Had a truck break down and ended up staying in town for two weeks—grateful for the warm vibes from the locals! MAMA D’s quickly became my go-to spot. Their eggplant parmigiana is hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. Great food, friendly staff, and cozy atmosphere. I’ll definitely stop by again whenever I’m passing through. Highly recommend!

Very simple, unassuming place with amazing food and kind, friendly staff. The deserts were incredible, and I would go back just for that alone. When you first walk in, you know, you think you might have walked in to the service entrance, and for a split second I almost turned and walked out, but so glad I did not. We visit this area a lot, and have several regular eating places, and today we found a new one. The whole is greater than the sum, to be sure. We will surely go back!

My husband and I stopped here in a whim while traveling. We simply looked up ‘lunch near me’ online and decided since it was a local establishment with a good rating that we’d try it. We didn’t even check to see what type of cuisine it was!
We questioned our choice when there was only one car in the parking lot, but there isn’t much else to choose from on that exit and we were hungry!
No lines, No waiting & immediately greeted at the front door! We WERE the only table seated for about 1/3 of our visit which made it so much easier to converse with our waitress, Brittany! She recently moved to the area from the same area we live! SUCH A SMALL world!
The food was sooooo good! Perfect portions for lunch! The southern hospitality was heartfelt & sincere! The restaurant was clean! No complaints at all with Mama D’s! If possible, we’ll stop on our way back home, too!

The place looked very welcoming. I was greeted by a young lady. She asked if I had a to go order, and I said yes. Payed for my food and she went to get my pizza. I asked for parmesan cheese. She walked away. Came back with a 2 oz container about 1/2 full and informed me I had to pay 2 dollars for it. I just bought a pizza!! WTH if I ate it there I wouldn’t have to pay. So don’t order a pizza to go. The flavor was a 2 out of 5. Don’t waste your time.

We ordered garlic Knotts, the appetizer sampler, and the stuffed pizza.
The garlic knots were ok some parts over garliced some parts not garliced at all. The sampler was atrocious. The chicken was a single chicken strip burned and cut in half. The onion rings were tasteless- almost freezer burned like. The only decent part was the mushrooms.
The stuffed pizza was an offense to our taste buds. The bottom crust wasnt even cooked completely but a glob of greasy dough. It had no real taste. No sauce either. The meat wasnt drained of grease before getting put on the pizza and soaked through everywhere. The cheese was off. The best way I can describe it was like mozzarella thats been frozen burned then thawed and almost bad. The meats were not seasoned at all it was like a greasy cheese undercooked pizza.
We will not be going again and only be sending toxic enemies there in the future. Spare yourself and loved ones.

This place like most others was ok in the past. I tried it again and was not very pleased. It seems like you could make a pizza properly if you had been doing it for years. The crust and cheese seemed low quality. They should also maintain their driveway better. This restaurant could be a lot better. I won’t be back.

Food was bland. My main problem was the place seemed dirty and smelled funky. Server was great. The vents and baseboards were black and dust everywhere. The place needs a deep cleaning. Hopefully the kitchen is cleaner than the dining area.
