My friend recommended Mama Cuca’s restaurant to me. I have never heard of this establishment before so I figured I would check it out. So on my day off, I went to the new location of Mama Cuca’s in downtown Arlington…and I must say, it was more than what I expected! I figured it would be a comfy, mom-n-pop place but to my surprise, it was Mexi-Chic! (My made up description)
It had a modernish, minimalistic aesthetic look to it….but in a good way. The staff there was very attentive and accommodating. I felt as if I was in familiar surroundings. I did not partake into a full meal but I did have chips n salsa and drinks. All was tasty and satisfying. I met strangers who became friends, that includes the staff! I will definitely go back to visit multiple times!! Please stop by and say Nina G. referred you!!

Had a great experience at the newly opened second location of Mama Cuca’s! My atmosphere 4 stars is more due to the decor being more sterile BUT these are things that may be in the works so don’t let that stop you from a great meal

Had a great lunch here. The fajitas were tender and not chewy only 14.50 for the lunch portion and I had leftovers! The queso was great and the patio is really nice! I’ll come back again and try some more things including the flan

The food was delicious & service was amazing! Kat was our server, she was attentive & friendly. We started with the Guacamole de Mesa and Chile con Queso, both excellent choices. For our entrées, we enjoyed the Tacos de México, Beef Fajitas, Tacos de Papa, and Street Corn. The beef was especially impressive—tender, well-seasoned, and full of flavor—and the Tacos de Papa were absolutely delicious! The Skinny Margarita was so good! I’ll definitely be returning soon.

The atmosphere and the esthetic of this restaurant is really nice. After all the good reviews I was expected the food to be just as good… and not really. The food was mid and from someone who has been to almost every restaurant from bad to good, the food definitely did not meet the expectations.

Stopped by to get brunch and margs while catching up with some friends. The weather was amazing so we sat outside.
The decor was such a vibe! Perfect place to hang out and enjoy with both family and friends imo.
We tried the Huevos Rancheros, Chilaquiles, and Breakfast Skillet with Beef. Every single dish was amazing and we ended up sharing family style to try everything. I suggest ordering the Tres Leches French toast for the entire table to share.
Also… the frozen margaritas are to die for.
Definitely looking to come back for get togethers and celebrations!
