We stopped here for dinner. The staff was friendly, and we didn’t have to wait to be seated. Our food came in about 10-15 minutes, and it was delicious! They had handmade tortillas, so we ordered a little bit of everything.

This place is AMAZING. I come here every week and the food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and truly authentic. You can tell everything is made with care and quality ingredients. The staff is always super friendly and welcoming, and the prices are fantastic for how good the food is. It’s hands-down one of my favorite Mexican spots and I recommend it to everyone. Never disappoints!

Amazing food! And incredibly kind staff. My friends and I got stuck waiting outside for a gig and the kind staff of Mama Chuy invited us inside their restaurant to wait and stay warm. They didn’t expect anything from us, instead keep us safe. We ended up ordering the nachos, Carne asade tacos, and churros. Everything was delicious! We definitely found our new favorite Taco spot in LA!

Everything was so fresh, from the inside windows you can watch them make the tortillas by hand and fry them. The carne asada was so tender, almost melt in your mouth and the quesadilla had a perfect fry. If you ever are in the area, try this place. The atmosphere is also amazing with the art on the wall. 10/10. Also it was only $9 for the quesadilla which is a steal in my opinion.

It was literally so good we didn’t take pictures. We ordered a pastor torta, an asada quesadilla, and a fried chorizo quesadilla. Service was phenomenal. The agua fresca was refreshing. 10/10 recommend.

Chuy’s is top tier. Super nice guy running the counter, store was empty somehow? Food was amazing so not sure why it was empty. Small restaurant and very welcoming so it felt nice. Had solid holiday decorations. Parking is plenty with it having a neighborhood and street parking right there. Had a movie playing that we could listen to and watch while we waited since we took it to-go.
Food was really good and the guy that took our order helped on decisions, chicken quesadilla and a beef burrito. Menu is simple but seems to be customizable. Tortilla chips weren’t stale either. The burrito was a monster and well worth it’s weight…. Food like this from something like chipotle or Taco Bell would run you 50 or 60 dollars. We snuck away with food that was two meals worth and was just about 30 dollars total.
This place needs more loving people to visit, don’t let Mama Chuy’s sink away 🙁

Come and get your Quesadillas ! Found this amazing place in N. Hollywood Mexican quesadillas are their specialties… But let me tell you when you dedicate yourself to one main dish you cannot go wrong … They also serve street dogs sopes mulitas and much more . They also have a selection of fresh waters . Donald let me forget to mention that the tortillas are made fresh and by hand .. Chiquis our server was the best . Welcomed us as soon as we walked in . Made us feel welcomed . I’ll be back soon and recommend you come in and try for yourself.

We were in town to meet my in-laws and weren’t sure where we were (totally lost). So there we were starving and looking for this dive bar. But we found Mama Chuy’s instead. They always told me to hit the food trucks for Mexican food in LA. But this place was absolutely out of this world! Can’t recommend highly enough!!

I’ve lived in LA for thirty years. Mama Chuy has the best burrito I’ve had so far. And yes, I remember every burrito I’ve ever eaten in LA.

Oh my god. I came across this spot on Uber eats. Ordered a quesadilla and even with it being delivered, it was one of the best I’ve ever had. Perfection. Literally so good and massive. Wow this is the place my life has been missing
